The four year old was excited to help gather parts and assemble the easier parts like axels and wheels. The six year old was able, with guidance, to assemble almost all the parts, including connecting the motor and wires. Everyone was quite excited to see both cars work so beautifully. They inspired hours of conversation about electricity, grids, solar power, how it all works, etc. All parts, wood and metal, plastic and rubber are very durable and accurately machined to easily fit and stay together.
