Great printer. I love that it can process duplex printing with out having to use the manual tray. We purchase these for our office whenever we need new ones.

This printer is amazing. Great price, easy setup. I highly recommend it. The printer we replaced was old and had seen better days. This HP 4001, my wife was printing a 2 page document and the printer automatically printed on one piece of paper, both sides, PERFECT.

I took this printer out of the box, plugged the power cord it into the wall, plugged the USB cable into the printer and computer, turned on the printer, set English and USA on the panel. That's it. I brought up a recipe file and printed it. I have an iMAC M4 running Sequoia. Evidently the driver was already in the computer. Fast, beautiful printing.

I purchased the printer via Amazon resale, used-like new, because I have had good results with other devices. The savings was great. I took off a star only for the packaging. I’m otherwise very pleased. There was packing paper at the top of the box but the sides were unpadded, so the printer was loose in the box, free to bounce around. The paper tray on top was scratched. That could have very likely been a result of shipping, but either way just cosmetic. There was no usb cable included, so I used the one from my old printer. That’s all I needed to do to print instantly from my laptop. I then used the Ethernet cable (which was included) to connect the printer to my router, and it was instantly a wireless printer, findable by any device on the network. No other setup was required, and it prints fast. I’m glad the product wasn’t damaged in shipping (other than a tiny scratch), and so far I’m happy with my purchase.

This thing does not connect to Wi-Fi. But I’m so freaking tired of printers that do having major IT issues. I bought a Wi-Fi extender that has an ethernet plug-in. And then I bought an ethernet cable to plug this printer into my Wi-Fi extender. Now my life is simple with no stress. This thing Print so easy from every device in the house, including my iPhone. The best purchase ever.

I have had numerous and significant issues with this printer. It does not print clear and sharp text, and more problematically, it does not imprint ink properly onto paper. After printing, the ink itself not only leaves residue on the page, but the ink is easily wiped off with a finger swipe. I have attempted to use three (3) different toner cartridges--two HP cartridges, and two different third party cartridges, to see if I could resolve my issue. The printer has continued to not print dark, clear, or to imprint ink hard enough on the page for the ink to even stick. I have no way to contact customer support or ask for a return.

This printer was fast and the print quality was excellent. Set up is complicated, but once done it prints fast. However, is ethernet only. If you have an office set up where your router is next to this, then it is a good printer to get. However, if you are like me and your router is in your living room and not in the office with your printer, you are out of luck. Returned it, it make sure you don’t need wireless. It will print via a phone if hooked up to an ethernet cord, but must support your set up.

Generally a good printer for the price. The 600 dpi resolution is quite good for most printing, but not not as good as my old 1200 dpi HP printer when it comes to reading tiny print. To Duplex, the printer prints all the odd number pages single-sided then you have to flip the stack of pages over and feed it back into the printer so so the printer can print the even numbered pages on the other side rather than printing each sheet front and back as it prints like more expensive printers.
