The Hunter: A Monster Romance (Monsters and Beauties Book 2)

I've read both books 1 and 2 of these and I'm still trying to work out if I like them. They are very brutal and raw in the way they describe the relationships between the 2 main characters. If your looking for a soft romance these books are not going to give you that.I will say both books are interesting in their own way but the base of them is the same so you get the feeling you are mainly reading the same story twice.They are orignal in their own right but I was left feeling that something was missing in the make up of the story.Interesting read, I would recommend this and the first book for the experience

3,5 🌟 This book takes furry erotic fun to a new level as our wolf doesn't shift at all, he is just a massive werewolf. Living in the wilderness of Alaska he smells his mate when she goes for a holiday in a cabin near his forest. She wanted to reconnect with nature after her last relative died and ends up being pumped full of giant wolf juice.The story started really well but the second half of the book was repetitive as their reflections about life (for her) and mate (for him) were very much on repeat and it became boring, also the ending felt unfinished and rushed. That is why the 3,5 🌟

Another interesting take on Little Red Riding Hood with beasts and beauties. I really enjoyed this second book of the series and hope to read the third in the series.

This was a cute little monster romance,It is a quick read and exactly what I needed.This delivers what it promises, quick love and lots of smut. Gotta say I am not a fan of breeding and the dirty talk involving getting pregnant and stuff ruin my mood quickly and make me cringe. I mean, no mater what kind of romance, that is a kind of dirty talk that for one who's worst nightmare is getting pregnant is very much not pleasant. I know many people enjoy it so if that's your thing, good for you! I guess. And you'll love this cause this wolf is very insistent about filling her with pups.I love that the MC is plus size too, great representation.And I got to learn about another cute corner of the world that I now want to visit!!I just have a question about this book though, a small spoiler here. this guy is alone in this place and have never been with a woman. Who taught him what the clitoris is, where it is, and what it does? Cause most human men don't know it and most of them actually learn it at school ...🤔

I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book, Ive read quite a few of Jenika’s books before including The Beast which I loved, and If you love hunter/prey monster romance this book is for you my friend! it’s a retelling of the little red riding hood with added spice which was perfect for me. I loved the characters and the backstory behind them. I love how Wolf is portrayed as very dominant and heavy on praise who doesn’t like being told they are a good girl?. Please check the TWs before you read this book as some scenes are very descriptive with sexual activity which I absolutely loved by the way. If you love retellings, spicy romance and monster smut get this book for sure!

This gave exactly what it needed to give. A fast paced smutty monster novella, The Hunter is the story of Little Red Riding Hood reimagined. Written in dual pov we get to see both main characters pov which added so much intensity especially when you read the Wolf's pov. Wow wow wow! I really enjoyed this book!Incredible arc, devoured this book in the one sitting literally 1 hour.If you like monster willies, fated mates and wolf/human relationship then this is the book for you!I would’ve given it 5 stars but I just wished the book was longer. I didn’t want it to end!

Wow! Another hot book. This author is good at writing books that I didn't even know I wanted or needed until she releases them! This book called to me and I couldn't help but to devour it all in one go... even staying up a little later than I normally would. The storyline was amazing... the fairytale vibes that are mixed with such hot twists was perfect. The main characters were so well written that you couldn't help but to love them and crave their happily ever after. After the 1st book I wasn't sure how she could out do herself but this book totally proved me wrong! I cannot wait for more!!
