Fit great on mk7 GTI 2015 fender system only downside it finding a way to secure the bracket to the door I just used a m4 nut and bolt speaker will touch on door panel but can be trimmed

Holes don't line up with factory holes left after drilling out rivets. You can get it close on 2, but then the other 2 will always be off. I had to drill new holes in the door panel to get it to work. Because they don't line up with the factory holes, you also have to be careful with positioning of this and attempt to center it yourself since it doesn't fit snug in the speaker hole in the door. I traced the outline of the factory speaker housing before removal and when installing this made sure it was within the outline. Would not recommend to purchase. Unfortunately, it seems like every speaker adapter for this car has an issue. If i was doing the job again, I'd just recommend going with universal speaker spacers, rather than adapters.Wanted to update as I ended up finding the correct part after a ton of looking. For anyone in the same predicament, search for American International SG-650DX. They are listed as spacers, but they work and line up with the factory holes perfectly.

Perfect and quick delivery

The screw holes are unevenly skewed to one side and don't line up with the original VW speaker rivets or standard 6.5 speaker screw holes. What's interesting is looking at the listing again you can see that the defect is apparent in the product photo as well, so more than likely this is an issue affecting all these spacers.I have attached photos including some measurements with the spacers and the original VW speakers. I hope I save someone the time and hassle of drilling out their rivets and only then finding out that these spacers will not work for them without modification.
