Q: How is this different from your regular ezydog dfd? higher priced so what are the major improvements/features?

Hello - Overall the fit and location of the flotation are very different in the 2 styles. The X2 design elements have been developed for a more streamlined and ergonomic fit which includes full flotation around the belly and neck. Both are amazing performers in the water. Thank you!

Q: I want to confirm that there is no velcro on the belly band, only straps?

Hello - The only velcro on this product is a very small piece that is attached to the end of the 2 pieces of webbing which can be used to hold any excess webbing that is not being used. It doesn't hold the belly bands into place. You can see this if you zoom in on the buckles on the studio image of the life jacket. Thank you!
