"Halo: The 2022 Live-Action TV Series"
It is pointless to compare 'Halo the game' to 'Halo the TV series' to 'Halo the anime', for they are very different mediums and there is really no comparison between them. They are as the old saying goes, "apples and oranges," being incomparable or incommensurable. Therefore each should stand on its own excellence and not on any faithfulness to the game or one another."Halo: The TV Series" is a 2022 Live-Action American military science fiction television series based on the video game franchise of the same name, the series follows a 26th-century war between the United Nations Space Command and the Covenant, a theocratic-military alliance of several alien races determined to eradicate humanity, starring Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 and Jen Taylor as Cortana, and consists of nine episodes, not part of Halo’s Core Canon, introducing a new timeline specifically created for the TV series, called the ‘Silver Timeline‘, similar to, yet slightly different from the events in the video games. The timeline has to be separate because there are some key differences between the show and the rest of the franchise, like the fates of the planet Madrigal and the settlement known as The Rubble. The first season begins around the 'Fall of Reach,' when Master Chief and Silver Team are searching the galaxy for the first Halo ring in an effort to turn the tide in the war with the Covenant. Season 1, consisting of 9 1hr Episodes was first broadcast March 24, 2022, and Season 2, consisting of 8 1hr Episodes was first broadcast February 8, 2024. Season 1 was released on DVD and Blu-ray on November 15, 2022. Season 2 DVD Blu-ray release has not been announced. The storyline is fantastic, the acting is spellbinding, and the visuals are captivating. The disc collection is a must have for Halo aficionados. There is no such thing as bad Halo!

Halo 4k Production was Excellent. The Story was Good.
I watched the 4k version of Halo. The image quality and audio was top notch. I was very impressed with the production values of this first season. It was easy to tell that they spent years preparing for the series. This is an "A" grade 4k production. The story they crafted was good. Obviously there is a difference between gaming and and a TV show. They can do much more with character development and exposition in a show. In the games, Master Chief was just an invincible war machine that dominates battle after battle. On the TV show, they fleshed out Master Chief as a flawed and troubled soldier whose entire life was a lie. So, for much of the season he was lost and in search of his identity. It made him much more human and defective. Much of the criticism fans have expressed had to do with the fact that their "hero" is not so perfect.A new character that is introduced in the TV show is that of Kwan Ha - a young teen girl who comes from military parents and has a very strong and independent nature. But she comes across so unlikeable and irritating that I was instantly put off by her character. The actor did a good job portraying her, but how it was written just didn't resonate with me at all. This has happened before in other series when a character that is supposed to be "liked" ends up so annoying that they end up hated instead. That is a total blunder by the writers and, unfortunately, that happened in this case with me.Season 1 had 9 episodes that moved quite quickly. The story ark was quite short. There is obviously a LOT more content they can put on the screen in future seasons. The Halo universe is quite vast. Combining the video, audio, production, story, characterization together gets a solid B+ from me. This is a series I will continue to watch. However, since it takes so much money and time to produce such a series, I'm unsure how many seasons the network will approve. It will at least have a second season.

Just plain awesome.
Physical Item: No issues. I thought pretty good quality compared to other DVD/Bluray/Utra4K discs I have bought. The Halo Series: Well I don’t know how long it has been since I felt the way this show made me feel. It’s like the first time playing Halo back in 2002. This show, at least in my opinion, was perfect. At first I didn’t like them showing Master Chief’s face right away, however I quickly changed my mind. If you get what I’m trying to say, then you’re a 90’s kid.

Good series
I got into the Halo lore when the first halo game came out. The series even though took somewhat of a different turn, like an example of a different alternative universe settings and not the original lore flew me back a bit. The series took a different approach and turn out to be decent. Yes, I was upset when the helmet was removed and sat back to watch the Halo season 1 to see where it led to an interesting alternative story. It turns out to be pretty good. Give it a try.

A solid foundation for something truly special.
Being separated from the expansive core canon, Halo: Season One takes full advantage of its narrative freedom to take one of gaming’s most iconic series’ in a new direction that both fans of the games and newcomers can enjoy. The series looks gorgeous, sounds incredible, is jam packed with riveting drama and explosive action, made better on 4K disk with a nice variety of special features.Live action Halo has never looked better.

字幕
字幕は英語しか有りません。言葉も英語のみでした。ストーリーは素晴らしくまだ、途中までですが、子供達と見ています。戦闘シーンは、残酷ですが、マスターチーフが戦っているのを見ているとワクワクしてきます。

Gran Steelbook.
