I love Darn Tough socks but I should have been asked if I wanted another sock instead of the one I ordered. Replaced Item with something similar without asking me if I wanted it before they charged my account and mailed it to me.

I’m pretty impressed and surprised. I had one pair of icebreaker hiking sock that I exclusively wear when I hike. They are expensive and I want to make the most of it for the longest time.Then, I found those wonderful socks. They are darn though. I’m planning to hike The Great Trail (transcanadien Trail). So I need 3 pair of them.I know that I will wear them intensively and I can river wash them when I need it.The first reason I bought them is that they are lifetime warranty. Not like the icebreaker. I Just need to send the pair to the manufacturer and they will ship another pair. How great !So now. I have them. I decided to use one pair for work and I walk to work (8km) per days with my backpack to train my endurance. I have rubber shoes at work. My feet still get wet from sweat, but on break time I remove my rubber shoes and they dry very quick. They don’t stink at all. And more importantly. Like I said. I remove my rubber shoes on my break, especially the last one, because I work one more hour and I go home. So, my feet are dry when I put back my hiking boot to go home.I was very impressed and I ask my mom to smell my sock. She did and was wondering was i asked her to do that. They don’t smell right? I asked. No, she reply. I started laughing and told her I was wearing them for 4 days straight. She didn’t like it, but it was very funny for me.You know. The second day I was wearing them I was in ahh, wow moment. They felt very comfy each day of wearing them. Especially surprised each morning when I put them on my feet.Let me tell you that after 7 days. They don’t stink. Now they kind of hold by themselves, so it’s in the washing machine now.I ordered 3 pair. This one I will said it’s perfect for 3 season. They are thinner that the other 2 pair.Whatever the reason for you to buy them. They are great. They are lifetime warranty almost no question ask. Of course if your dog chew them, you won’t have them replaced. Just remember that you need the full pair to have another one. You ship them to the manufacturer Darn Thought in Vermont, USA.
