Wife has RA, this helps !!
1: Good price, get 2 2: Comfortable if u pick right size, measurements said medium, upon receiving found to small, did return and ordered large, much better, RA doctor recommended thumb support shot in joint did little, ok when getting wet 3: Wife says pain much relieved!

Perfect to hold a dressing in place on the side of my hand.
I had a laceration injury on the side of my hand just above the thumb, and the urgent care used an ace bandage to hold the dressing in place. This worked fine for a day while resting, but at work it moved around and wasn't working for me. Saw this support and ordered it and it worked perfectly to hold the dressing in place and as a bonus to help the swelling. There was 2 in the pack, which meant that when one got dirty I could change over to the other one while I washed the first one and let it dry . I washed it with a nail brush and some soft soap and it came up like new and dried perfectly. I had no allergic reaction to it, and no irritation. Its not particularly supportive, but it's perfect to hold a dressing in place and protect it from dirt and water.

Some support but for what?
I thought these would be great when I take a break from the hard plastic supports. When I keep them on more than 5 hours my thumbs kinda tingle for hours when I remove them. CMC joints remain the last joint in the human skeletal system that has yet to find a synthetic product that doesnโt fail. Sigh.

Not worth it for me.
Definitely no support. The material is very thin which allows for a great deal of movement. I was looking for something more restrictive. This isn't it!
