However, they are incandescent lights, and the longer they're on/used, the more quickly they'll run through their rated lifespan and need to be replaced. If you mean, e.g., can they be installed in the car's normal "running light" position/fixture (only comes on in daylight hours, when the car is put in a moving gear), again, sure they CAN, if they'll fit/work in the particular car's running light position/fixture. I'd probably avoid this, however, since these bulbs run pretty hot, and running light fixtures are usually smaller than headlight fixtures, with less ambient air flow around the bulb. **Q: Is this a high and low beam? I want to replace high and low on both sides** A: Fitment and application details for this bulb vary depending on the year, make, and model of vehicle it is being installed in. It was said to be used by both GM and Dodge in some of their vehicles. Not sure what imports it all fits, but if your stock headlamp is a variety of the 9005 series, this bulb will fit. Sadly though, the Silverstar bulbs have a short lifespan. That's a little better than factory lights if your car is over 10 years old. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not icy blue light *by K***J on September 24, 2024* The light color is not icy blue as i expected since the picture shows the bulb with a icy blue color, but the headlights are brighter and wider than the phillips my 2012 prius plug in came with n have more down road visibilty. I think the silverstar ultras are the way to go if you want the icy blue color, but cant be for sure since i havent tried them. Will be upgrading to the ultras in the near future.
