I have thick, coarse hair that's about shoulder length. I stopped washing my hair daily in the last year or two and now I wash it 2-3 times a week. Since doing this, I have found that it takes 3 applications of shampoo to clean it well. A lot of that depends on how it's feeling such as is it lathering up? or does it feel like it's not doing anything yet. I was surprised to find that this only took 2 applications. It lathered up on the first time. It's a moderate amount of lather, but that's preferred by me because it's easier to rinse. It has an earthy/herbal smell to it. I didn't really like it, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I followed this with conditioner. I have been very pleased with the results. My hair has been very soft and shiny.

I don't have dandruff issues but usually only get to wash my hair once or twice a week. I get pimples sometimes along my hair line from the oils. And I get a buildup on my scalp... Not sure of what. But it gets itchy after a few days and I have dead skin or whatever in my nails after scratching. I also have patches of I don't know what because I can't see but I imagine dry skin? Whatever is going on, I've used this shampoo a few times now and I definitely scratch off less residue or whatever. Also finding less pimples. Not sure if I need it or just need to wash my hair more, for the price not sure if I can't keep it up. Maybe just use it every few washes. I also don't care for the scent at first, it's a strong t-tree kind of smell, like other dandruff shampoos I suppose. Once it softens tho, it does last in your hair even after a few days which is nice - still smells clean.

This is one of the best shampoos I have ever used. I have long normal to fine hair with hard water. This clarifying shampoo has done such a fantastic job with my hair since I have started to use it. My scalp feels clean and this shampoo did a fantastic job taking care of any build up. My hair is shiny and has more volume since I started using this and looks and feels much lighter. As far as the shampoo itself, it has a very pleasant scent which feels a tad bit herbal. The shampoo is a thin cream like texture and you don’t need a lot to get a decent lather. The shampoo is pretty pricey for the amount you receive as the bottle is pretty tiny. Overall, I think the shampoo is worth it because it really has produced some fantastic results in just a few washes and my hair looks and feels healthier.

$48 for a bottle of shampoo is a lot! I typically buy drugstore friends or I will buy brand name brands when they are on sale. I really do like the shampoo, I'm not sure it'll be worth that amount of money but it did a great job cleaning my hair. My hair stay clean for longer than normal. It also did not strip it to feel too dry, I still feel nice and moisturized after I used conditioner. I liked the smell I wasn't too strong. Also I appreciate a shampoo with a good lather.

I have fine and rather dry hair that tangles very easily especially with harsher shampoos. I ordered this primarily because of the volumizing and shine both of which I need. What you will notice first is the amazing smell and a finishing scent that smells just like lemon zest. After shampooing and rinsing I found my hair felt soft and clean without that stripped feeling. This is definitely a good daily shampoo for me that feels safe for my dry, color treated, fine hair. The only reason for the four stars is it is a bit pricey. Gentle on my hair but left it feeling clean and soft and smelling very nice, good find.

This is just an okay shampoo for me. Nothing special about it. It lathers okay and rinses out but I still need a good conditioner to soften and moisturize it. I do like that it has a lot of essential oils in it, junk-free and made in the USA. The bottle is smaller as well so not sure how long it will last.

I love this shampoo! It smells so good. We are on well water and sometimes when I wash my hair and blow dry it, it can already feel greasy. Between that and the fact that I do use product in my hair, I constantly have to use a clarifying shampoo. This shampoo made my hair feel clean for 3 days (which may not seem like a lot of some people but for my hair, that’s great results). My scalp didn’t feel itchy at all and my hair was super smooth from being so clean. I am very pleased with the results from it. I also color my hair and don’t feel like this shampoo has stripped my color or made it fade faster.

This shampoo works well. It's a basic shampoo that is gentle enough for regular use. I wash my hair every other day, and this is an ideal shampoo for that frequency. It's designed for all hair types. For reference, my hair is very fine, thin, long, and straight. I also have color treated hair. This shampoo makes my hair feel clean and soft. The scent is pleasant. It has notes of orange and coconut. It contains Vitamin E and essential oils. I really appreciate that it's both vegan and cruelty free.
