No. The brightness is a fixed intensity. I am very happy with the light. Especially when the dog is out in the snow. No trouble locating him.

Does this collar fit large dogs.

Yes - fits my 100 lb. Great Pyrenees. The collar adjusts, and the light is clearly visible outside of her big neck mane.

Can the light be attached to a different collar?

Yes, but I think it would have to be a collar of similar construction to the collar that comes with the light to slide through the clips.
