English dictionary didn't read the text

I bought this to help me with my ADHD to get ready for an exam. It would not always pick up the letters right and would give the wrong definition or mispronounced the words. I settings would go back to the default and I would have to reset it each time I used it. Need to say I sent it back without any trouble. And the case they suggest to buy, don't it doesn't fit, to small.

I bought this for a friend who is dyslexic and is unable to read books or even texts. At first, I was not sure if this would work due to the dyslexic feature reads to slowly for an adult. However, if you use the translation feature and set it to English to English it reads quickly and is very easy to scan sentences or paragraphs at a time. The Bluetooth feature is easy to connect to earbuds. The NEWYES reading pen reads text from phones and laminated items. This has been a game changer allowing reading from books and texts from a phone.

The English-Chinese works very well. It is very convenient to read hard-copy books and magazine using the pen. The customer service is very helpful.
