Sturdy, Excellent Quality, & Paints Beautifully
I have only had this kit for a week, but I have used it a several times since then and if anything from this review changes my opinion at all on the unit then I will provide an update.I ordered this mainly for painting plastic RC boat/car bodies projects and wanted to step up from using spray paint cans. This airbrush kit has changed everything! It is the coolest thing to have for my projects and for any kind of small project you'd be able to paint with. The spray gun itself provides a much cleaner, evenly, and much more powerful spray (with the valve fully open) than any spray paints I've ever used. The adjustable valve on the spray gun is surprisingly very responsive and easy to use; the spray gun is also lightweight, but it still seems very sturdy and kept up without any worry. Compressor holds up very well while continuously running, in fact it even runs a lot quieter than what I expected it to.The airflow from the compressor is more than plenty for home projects such as an RC boat that I've already coated one side of. I'm working on another RC car body that requires lexan paint and this does work well with it. I used a red Spazstick brand paint can that I held upside down while spraying to collect the paint to use with this airbrush sprayer and it worked beautifully. I have toyed with the sprayer from different angles, distances, and varied spray gun pressures over different sections on a posterboard and I'm very shocked by what this whole kit is able to do, and especially for the price. I'd expect something like this to cost over $100 easily, and I'd still think that's a deal.Other than it's functionality, the exterior finish is very nice--actually, the only thing that wasn't screaming "excellent quality" right out of the box are the plastic reservoirs, but I was fully aware of the thinner material of these before I ordered the kit and there are 2 plastic and 1 metal included. Just something to think about in the future if they get damaged, but no big deal for any time soon. There isn't much to complain or nit-pick about other than that. Everything else is very elegantly designed and even very well packaged. I'll be using the original box as a carry case for now since it's actually a sturdy box that holds it all compacted down in a small package.I absolutely love this thing and couldn't recommend it enough!

Just no
The power base went bad after 3 uses. Wouldn’t turn on or hold charge. Poor quality and high price than the usual cheaper versions but last no where close to the time it should. I hate to be that person but don’t waste your time.

Never used an airbrush before but it worked without a problem
The media could not be loaded. I always wanted to try an airbrush and this turned out to be what I was looking for. It didn't come with any instructions but it was pretty obvious how to put it together and use it. I tried it first with latex paint since that's what I had. It needed to be watered down a lot but once I watered it down and took off the plastic cap that comes on it it worked great. I'm not an artist but didn't have any trouble once I figured it out. I haven't run the battery down so I don't know how long it goes on a charge but it lasted plenty long for what I was doing. I videoed an artist friend who knew what she was doing using it and she ended up borrowing it for a while. You have to clean it between color changes of course and I didn't have any trouble getting it clean. Ink cleaned much easier than my latex but even that came off easy. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do with it.

Working Well for A First Time Air Brusher
I haven't used an airbrush before, so I'm still figuring a few things out.I will say this seems to be a nice unit. I like that it is all in one with the compressed air, rather than requiring a separate compressor that you're tethered to. I'm also not using this for large projects, so self-contained works for me.The kit is well packaged and protected. The compressor cylinder and airbrush gun both feel substantial and sturdy. It comes with two sizes of paint feeders. These are plastic, so I do wonder about durability as I've seen others that are glass. Those may be a long-term weak point. My only real complaint is that it didn't come with instructions (at least not mine). Fortunately there's not a lot to figure out, but some basic instructions would have been nice. Might have just been my kit, but I'm dinging a star for that and the plastic paint feeders. As far as function, its been working fine. Taking a bit to get the viscosity right, but that's me, not the tool. Overall I'd say this is a good tool for a beginner for sure.

So many uses!
This little cutie is something I had no idea I wanted so much. I haven't made too many attempts with it yet, but in testing I was very pleased with the flow and the power of the small, easy to hold compressor and the variability of the spray. Im holding off on doing too much with it yet because I can't decide if I want to use it for food or for paint, and obviously I wouldn't want to combine the two in the same unit.I'm leaning towards using it for paint since I wouldn't have much use for it too often in the kitchen. It's a perfect size for canvases of many sizes, and I'm eager to test it out for some fabric art as well. Being cordless makes it so much easier to use on fabrics especially, or anything with an irregular shape or size. I will also be using this for art with natural materials, such as stones and wood. This would be great with fixed sand art, or decorating things like plant pots.I've wanted an airbrush setup for so long but was never willing to go for the cost of a full-sized kit, especially as a beginner in the medium, and this is not only really handy for a professional but it's a perfect learning tool. I'm pleased with it, and I'm considering an additional one specifically for use in the kitchen.
