After 1 treatment I can hear again. Nothing came out of the ear that I could see, so I assume the nasty plug dissolved. FYI, when I put the treatment in my ear there was a LOT of bubbling and crackling. **Q: Can you just leave the drops in without having to use the bulbs and have it still be effective?** A: As with most cleaning products, this product is designed to be rinsed out of the ear after the 15 minutes. The product helps to break down and allow for easier cleaning of the ear canal with a rinse step. Without a rinse, the broken down wax might not come out of the ear canal and leave the ear felling clogged again. **Q: What size is the bulb? How many oz or ml of water does it hold?** A: The bulb can hold about 10cc (less than half an ounce).
