60mm Throttle Body High Flow Replacement for 1997-2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Wrangler TJ 4.0L Part# 1724, 53032023AB

I’ve got a 1993YJ and I’ve definitely purchased one of these before from a different seller. Just like the previous seller, none of the sensors are wired for my harness. You can see that the connectors are different in these photos attached. However, knowing this, I still purchased this item. I was having a leak the throttle shaft bearing on the cable side. This fixed that right up. All I did was slap on my old sensors and I was on my way! If this one fails at the throttlebody shaft bearing again I’ll let you guys know.

Great replacement for 4.0. All components work well.

Works for a few months. Then, started messing up had to order a different one. Sleepy made Cruise control would not hook up without making it rev up over 2k RPM.

Okay so i put these on a 2002 grand cherokee 4.0. The sensor connections are totally wrong except the MAP, but i had replacements anyway. It said it was confirmed fit for my vehicle although the listing didnt include the year, so whatever that means. The gasket is good material, and overall the throttle body really is a nice part. I give it a high review because i needed a throttle body due to all the bolts being rotted into the old one. This is a good throttle body with high quality linkage and parts making up the mechanical aspects. Unlikely to affect mileage although people claim that, unless your current throttle body really is coated in junk.

The throttle body for 1996 Jeep Wrangler fit but the air control valve sensor did not match the connector so we had to either use the old one, or order just the sensor again separately. Other than that everything fit and is in working order.

Doesn't come adjusted. Idles at 2500 RPMS. Had to take it all apart 3 times until it was right.

Check engine light and codes for crankshaft and camshaft position sensor after installing. I did the reset and relearn , also have a good bidirectional scanner and still can't keep the codes from coming back. Too late to return. My fault for trying to make this work.
