2 year review.
Have owned latest size 10 pair for just under 2 years now. They are still new looking and fit great (never wear in winter conditions and always use shoe horn to put on, plus clean w/water when needed). The only brand i can wear for long periods without hurting thanks to the insole and perfect width and size. Only complaint is that they are expensive but this has not kept me from buying. I know the quality. No surprises.

Very light weight, love those shoes
I got these for $55 through Amazon before a hiking trip to AZ. I was surprised on how light these shoes feel, and are! They are study yet very comfortable. So glad I got these. The arch support is great, the fit well and the laces are very strong. Its anything they're a tad too long, but I can live with that

Good deal.
I got this from a friend referral. It is pretty sturdy, light weight and comfortable. Don't recommend for running and sports, a little too rigid, but definitely good boots for normal activity and rough hiking. They will protect your feet from blisters.

Nice hiking shoe
I hike in my local Oregon state park hills about 5 miles 5 days a week. Loose condition trail, some rocky, this time of year some mud and wet conditions in general. This shoe works well for all of what I have thrown at it so far. Note I have not tried this trail yet in dry Summer like conditions, so time will tell about traction in that condition. But so far it's been great and comfortable with no break in required. Not the updated MOAB version 3 with what they say is an improved tread design, but this was less cost and works fine for me. Traction has been good in all conditions tried and no wet feet.

Truly great for hiking!
A huge improvement over the hiking shoes I'd been using previously. Reasonable price for this model as well.

Hiking durable low top shoes
I really like these shoes. Why? the style and the durability...shipping was quick. I selected Vibram bottoms because from experience i knew that Vibram is durable far longer than most other material. They are comfortable !!! and comfort is a serious plus. They will outlast more other hiking shoes ..these can be used for ANY outdoor activities......from hiking to just running around townthe price is always important and the price on these was VERY reasonable..They were an easy choice!!!

They're OK
This is my 3rd pair of Merrells. I originally had another pair of these (loved them), then I had a pair of the lighter weight ones (can't remember the model name), which were also great. These are OK. They are very comfortable, they seem well-constructed, and the sizing was accurate, but they have a couple of annoying faults. First is the laces. They constantly come untied. Neither of my previous Merrells had this issue. They must have found a new supplier. I have been tying shoelaces for 50 years, so it's not me. But these don't stay tied for more than a couple hours unless I double-knot them. And I'm not out hiking the AT. I'm walking around on sidewalks and in office buildings. Yes, I can inexpensively replace the laces, but I shouldn't have to.Their other annoying quality is that they squeak when I walk. Something inside the sole, it seems. It doesn't matter what surface I'm walking on, or whether it's wet or dry. They just..squeak. If you're outside or in a busy setting, you don't hear it, but if it's quiet? Squeak, squeak, squeak. Annoying. All in all, they're decent shoes but they are a bit of a letdown after the good luck I had with my previous Merrells. When their time is up, I will consider other brands instead of automatically looking to Merrell again.
