Portronics Sound Slick IV 120W Bluetooth Wireless Soundbar with Inbuilt Woofer, LED Display, 3.5mm Aux in, USB Pen Drive Input, Optical Input Port, Loud & Clear Sound(Black)

This is my first soundbar and I have limited experience with soundbars, but what I have is decent collection of speakers, headphones, studio monitors from KRK, Kali, Klipsch, Sennheiser etc. so overall I have fair experience in sound quality and personally I can not tolerate bad audio at all. This was more of a spontaneous buy during Amazon's great Indian festival, so as to reach the next discount slab. Also, the soundbar that I needed should have minimal footprint as I could not afford space for additional subwoofer and/or satellite speaker unit(s) in my living room.When you open the soundbar you will notice the weight and size, it is usually a good sign for any sound system. It has a premium look and classy design and I certainly appreciate the minimalistic branding, a small logo by Portronics. I know I have purchased a cheaper and lesser known brand, but there is no need to mention the cheap chinese goods importing brand names on your product. The speaker connectivity is good in terms of bluetooth range and ease of connectivity. There is a LED display as well as voice response to guide someone which might be specially useful for less tech savvy usersNow coming back to sound quality - The lows exceeded my expectations and given it does not have a separate dedicated subwoofer, there is ample amount of bass and that too punchy and controlled, not going all over the place which is usually seen with cheaper audio system. Highs are also good, you will hear decent amount of instruments separations with reasonable quality. The systems lacks slightly in the mids, the vocals sound a little confined like soundstage is lacking from the audio system leading to lack of sound that fills the room. But if you are sitting infront of the soundbar's V-arc then this issue gets minimized. This issue is usually noticeable in some of the songs not all, also specially when you know how this song actually sounds through a expensive system.The speaker gets significantly loud without much distortion, which is a another good sign, it means they not trying to push overloaded speaker drivers, just through amplification and the hardware can actually keep up with the power being thrown at it. One more thing the various equalizer modes significantly impact the sound quality, noticeably the sound quality gets louder and bass-heavy with "music mode".Now, I haven't used the remote but it felt like cheap and delicate piece of plastic and I doubt the longevity, if not used with good care. Also, I haven't yet connected it with my TV as I am ordering a new one soon. The lack of HDMI ARC port is little concerning as it might cause some delay between the audio and video sync. I hope the lag is not that much noticeable if connected through optical port.There is also another issue which I encountered that is related to QC of the packaged product. The first product delivered to me had an issue with the front grill, as it did not close properly and had two small dents. I raised a complaint with Amazon and got the product replaced. Thankfully the replacement had no such issue.With credit card cashback this soundbar costed me roughly around 4.6k and at this price point I whole heartedly recommend this to anyone. I don't usually write reviews here, but given that this product is new and have limited reviews till now, as well as youtubers who reviewed this gave limited useful information, so I take this opportunity to help others.

Product is awesome with powerfull sound but due to fins on both sides you will get hissing sound of air created by subwoofer. To get rid of that one can remove some fins as I did.After doing that everything works flawlessly.

The speaker sound effects were good. No complaints :) . But The instructions on how to get it working was rubbish, sorry if I'm harsh. Most important is to charge it for how long I don't know. Cause I tried everything in the manual, it didn't work, so I left the power on the whole night and tried the next morning and it came on. A very important piece of instruction was omitted. The illustrations were wrong too or it have been for a different Model. But I'm happy with the product and the sound quality, the features and design.

Its just a loud speaker, there are no bass and treble controls, no equiliser, only a volume control. The speaker gives a tinny muffled sound on normal setting and when in surround sound the volume is so low you can barely hear it. After some use, the remote volume ceases to function. Also the packaging needs serious attention.

Portronics is amazing. Awesome product with super clear sound. Recommendable to buy.

The product is very good, specially the sound quality and ease of access, can easily connect to my smart TV. This is absolute value for money and I would strongly suggest to buy this product if you are looking to have a perfect sound experience for your home. Different modes will let you switch to different sound experience like for songs, for watching movie you will get entirely top of the world experience. Strongly recommended.

After using for 1 weak, Overall sound quality is good. but main drawback is it does not have HDMI port for connecting to TV. Now all tv's come with HDMI but this does not have HDMI port.

I give one star less, because it doesn't have a precise control over volume. It is kind of 10, 25, 50 and 100 percent volume. When i want the intermittent values, it doesn't work that way. The speaker will start with a certain higher volume and you cant reduce it below that specific volume. Any less and the volume is off.
