More natural feel grip trainer
I have only had mine for a day, but had been borrowing a freind's. After @ a week of practice swinging, I took it for a ride and it did help straighten out my shots (noticeably) due to a now consistent grip. Now I bought my own. It may take a bit of monkeying around to get it on your club for the first time, but after you are all lined up it is worth the struggle (the tight fit, I could safely assume, is to eliminate slipping while swinging). This item differs greatly from other grip trainers, in that it is not too "oversized". The bulky rubber ones have molded finger grooves & large Vs where your fingers should go, whereas this has a small fin & exposed upper-hand thumb spot, as well as an open backside. This feels more natural (you are making contact with your actual grip), and after a few swings you can really start to feel how wrong your grip was before. The fact that you can rotate it to fit your grip style (strong/neutral/weak) really is a bonus.

So far so good...
Bought this for my wife, to help her get the feel of having a "proper grip".The first problem I ran into was that the grips on her new Wilson golf clubs are too small (diameter or thickness). It seems to fit very well on my clubs. I have installed the grip on one of my gap wedges that I don't use. I think this will be usable for her to practice with and then switch to her clubs and attempt to take a good grip without the aid of the GripIT Rite.As for the fit, upon closer inspection, I feel that her clubs have very small grips. I definitely ordered the ladies version of this, so unless I received the wrong product, I am guessing it will fit most ladies clubs - I have no others to check it on.A few comments on the way you install the device: You have to sight the clubface through a plastic window that flips up and away from the shaft. The window has markings to assist with the alignment. While there are probably multiple methods that could have been used for this, I think this method works okay. My advice is to have good lighting from behind or above to see the grooves on the clubface clearly as you peer through the alignment window. You also need to take care when finally pushing it onto the grip that it doesn't move, which it will have a tendency to do. It is a bit more difficult to align once installed on the grip, but you can make small adjustments without too much difficulty.Bottom line - I think this is a very useful aid to help learn the proper grip. Because it can be used on any club, it is even more valuable. In the relatively few swings I have tried with it, it does seem to promote a good setup and even a smooth release of the club during the downswing.

Good for beginner
By all means, this is a good starting point for teaching grip, but the difficulty of placing it on in the correct orientation because of it being a “snap on” has proven very difficult.

Hard to hit without it.
This grip helps me to make every shot dead straight...only problem is that I've gotten so use to using it, that it's now very difficult not to. It increases the diameter of the grip, so once you take it off and grip the club, it feels very small.

Good concept but difficult to use
It’s difficult to align to the leading edge of the club and you can’t adjust it once you snap it onto the club. That makes it very frustrating to use because it always moves when you snap it onto the club so it requires many many tries to get it on correctly aligned. Overall, not worth the hassle.

A must have..I will buy more.
I'm a 24 HCP golfer and been playing for about two years. I hit it quite long with plenty of slice and hook. I'm a little like Bubba who tries to learn this naturally by looking at my own swing, really understanding the theory and watching pros. I'm also trying different aids to perform the swing properly. Watch the pro's and you'll see there are different ways to swing but some fundamentals do not change. Don't bend the elbow, have a steady stance (i.e rotate don't sway), the club must come inside out, hip should move first in the down swing etc. Rest is all different (check Furryk's ve Rorry).I always had problem with the grip. I have been experimenting with a lot of different grip types and always had issue. I've used this tool both for driver and 7 iron yesterday. Boy it's done wonders to my swing.First of all, it really loosened my grip and took my mind of wrist rotation. My swing immediately felt much more relax and ball flight was much more straight. It feels a little awkward at first. It forces to use position your leading arm quite strong (or at lest that was my feeling) but the result is a straighter flight. I have not used other pre-formed grips (also hard for me to try on the go since I'm a lefty) but this is a definite go for me. Now I will order couple of more and I will put them on driver and seven iron and leave on for one of the wedges.Strongly recommended.

Piece of crap
Fragile. Will break easily. Suppose to be for left hand, but works only for right.

Works--it's the only left-handed model out there
Very tight, but excellent quality and the only one you can get in lefty (I teach righties and lefties)

Great Aid, But it Has Flaws.
This aid is a great idea, and it has helped with my grip. However sadley it only survived a couple range sessions before it broke. It cracked down near the bottom where the lens flips up and down. The lens also often flips its self up when it would be better to stay down. I also find the aid moves on the grip a bit after each shot, but this could partly be because of the crack in it. I am going to try and glue it because it is very helpful with a problem that I have, where I move my trailing thumb inward and strengthen my grip mid shot. My only complaint is that the quality could be better. I know I had a couple of bad hits with my Callaway Apex 21 Pitching Wedge, so I think the vibration might of caused it to crack.

Rubbish
This is just an expensive piece of plastic. It is not easy to fit and the instructions don't help at all. All beginners would be better asking an experienced golfer to show them the proper way to grip the club. Avoid!
