I would technically give this 4.5 out of 5 stars. It is a perfect solution to our car that doesn’t have a Bluetooth connection or an aux 3.55mm audio port. The FM transmitter works well but only in the frequencies above 92.1 the higher up the dial the less background noise there is. The lowest frequencies, even when there is not another broadcast station, you would hear slightly garbled hissing noise even at lower volume. The higher frequency produced a clean signal. Other than that one negative, this works great otherwise. I tried it both with an iPhone 16 Pro Max and a 17 Pro Max. Both connected very easily the first time and automatically connects to the last phone it was connected to when starting the car. The 16 sound quality was very good but I wanted to mention the iPhone 17 because the 16 only supports Bluetooth 5.4 where the 17 support ls 6.0. The sound quality on the 17 is slightly better. The main difference between the two is if you watch videos on your phone while connected to the JoyRoom device. There is noticeable video/audio lag on the 16 but it’s almost imperceivable on the iPhone 17. I’m guess this has something to do with the Bluetooth specifications between 5.4 and 6.0. The wired remote control feels a little cheap when using the dial but all the other buttons are fine and are responsive when pressed. All in all, I’m happy with the purchase and for the money it was well worth it compared to other FM Bluetooth transmitters I have used in the past.

Hands Free: Not Telepathic - You have to use your hands for any controls to work. Overall: Love this thing. Works great, sounds great, easy to set up. If your car's Bluetooth isn't working, this is great substitute.

This device is aweseme, it does what it claims to do. It connects your phone to your car stereo through Bluetooth. It has a volume setting, but like other similar devices, it only goes up to 30 and I still have to turn my phone volume way up and my radio volume way up to hear music and phone calls clearly. Just have to remember to turn the radio sound down before trying to use the radio, so I don't blast out my ears. For example, I usually turn up my radio volume to somehere between settings 6 and 10 depending on my speed and road noise. To use this device and hear my phone calls, I have to turn up the volume setting to somewhere between 17 and 27. However I love that it has a spiral cord from the plugin part to the display part, and that the display can be clipped onto my air vent near my steering wheel. This allows me to see what station it is set to, and change the station if I need, and answer and hang up calls, all without taking my eyes off the road for more than half a second. Others you have to look down into the ashtray area where the device is plugged into the lighter. I feel that this is much safer for someone who is driving and might have to switch to a different station while driving. It hold onto my air vent tightly and doesn't bounce or make any noise. I recommend it. It also turns off when the car is off, turns on and reconnects to your phone automatically when the car is turned on. Easy to use.

Actually a perfect upgrade for a older car without a Bluetooth or audio jack. It just work. Replaces the plug for the dash cam, has spare usb and usbc port for other uses, controller clips onto the ac fan for easy access. Once connected to the phone it automatically reconnect pretty fast when you unplug and replug it to prevent it from draining the battery when you turn the car off. As for phone call quality, my family says they can hear me fine while on my end I had to lower the bass eq and mess with the volume between the phone and car to get clean audio. As for music quality you have to find a radio station number that's far isolated from other stations to avoid the signal getting hijacked by other cars or stations interfering with the audio. After that it sounds great, if you use a app called PowerAmp it let's you set the eq or use presets for your audio like music for more bass.

3 years ago today I bought this little guy for my work truck. It has survived insanely high temps, below freezing temps, and hours of direct sunlight. It has been tossed around, dropped, moved repeatedly, and survived a car crash. I've never had an issue with connecting to it, the sound quality hasn't diminished, and it still charges my phone perfectly. It's a tough and reliable lil fella and worth every penny. Just make sure the radio station you've got it set to isn't being used, and yes, there will be static sometimes, either due to the weather (mainly when it's cloudy or stormy) or if you're under something with a metal roof (like a barn). Also, make sure your phones volume is turned all the way up and turn on the bass boost.

Bought this specifically because the listing advertises “PD 60W” USB-C charging, which strongly suggests it should be capable of properly charging laptops. Unfortunately, real-world performance was nowhere close to the advertised specs. I tested this unit with multiple Windows laptops, three different 100W-rated USB-C cables, and even in multiple vehicles to rule out any outlet or compatibility issues. In every test, charging power stayed around 35W and Windows repeatedly displayed a “slow charger” warning. To verify the issue wasn’t caused by my laptops or cables, I tested the exact same setup with another dedicated 60W car charger, and both laptops charged normally without warnings. That makes it pretty clear this adapter cannot sustain the advertised 60W PD output under actual laptop load. The Bluetooth/FM functionality works, but the main reason many people would buy this product is for the advertised high-power USB-C charging. In real-world use, it simply does not perform anywhere near the claimed specifications. Feels like another case of inflated Amazon wattage marketing where the numbers sound impressive in the title but don’t hold up under actual testing. If you need real USB-C laptop charging in your car, you’re better off buying a dedicated PD charger from a reputable brand instead.

OK, it’s pretty good. The functionality of it works well. The charging is good. The volume is also really good. The cable length is OK but it doesn’t fit very well with my Nissan altima 2006 and there’s a lot of static at high speeds up to 60 mph and sometimes just static randomly so if you want something without static, I don’t recommend this but if you don’t mind a little static, it’s really good for the price and the display looks cool and it’s easy to use and yes, I’m on the correct stations for it to not have static. It still has static anyways.

Très bon produit, fait bien le job. Les basses saturent à bloc si on met le volume à fond sur le potentiomètre, baisser plutôt le volume vers 20 et monter le volume sur le smartphone ou la radio et ça ne satura plus. Acheté depuis environ 5 mois et je ne suis pas déçu, sauf à l'approche des grandes villes où les radios ont tendance à grésiller, sinon fonctionne vraiment bien. Pratique sur une ancienne voiture.

Sehr überraschend war der Kunden-Support der mich kontaktiert hat ob alles passt und das Gerät auch ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. Vielen Dank nochmals dafür!! Ich hatte schon mal vor einiger Zeit ein älteres ähnliches Model einer anderen Firma getestet, da war die Telefonfunktion einfach nur schlecht, dass es einem vergangen ist. Hier bei dem Gerät war schon die Einrichtung easy einfach, Musikqualität vom smartphone oder vom USB Stick toll, also ich bin kein Experte aber das ist überraschend gut. Telefonieren während der Fahrt die Sprachausgabe des Anrufenden lauft über die Autoboxen und funktioniert super, auch der andere Gesprächsteilnehmer versteht mich gut und das auch z.B. während der Fahrt. Fand die Idee mit dem Aux Anschluss auch ganz nett, hab ich noch nicht getestet, aber womöglich ist dann das Rauschen weg, wenn gerade keine Musik spielt.
