Q: Can the mat sit safely on rug without slipping?

I believe so but you can also put a rubber area rug mat underneath it.

Q: Can this be returned for a full refund if it doesn’t work for us?

Yes. As long as it the products is returned within 30 days after receipt of product, in like-new condition with all the original packaging. You will know right away if the products is not something that will work for your household.

Q: Can use use 2 mats simultaneously with one monitor?

Yes you can, you can used up to six different cordless components on the same monitor

Q: How long does the floor mad last?

I bought mine in December 2017 and it's still going strong so I will say with care a very long time
