Ice Horse Single Hock Wraps for Equine Therapy - Comes with 3 Ice Packs

I love the product. However, pricing could be a bit more competitive.

I’ve never had to use a wrap like this before so initially I had some issues with fit. The first thing that I encountered was that I had to use this wrap with the logo facing upside down and the velcro straps on the inside of the leg in order for it to fit properly. At first, it didn’t appear that it would close with 3 ice packs and so I was using two ice packs on either side of his hock as this is where his hock was swollen. If he was tied and I walked away for a minute I would come back to the wrap being around his ankle.I spoke with the seller and was told that it should stay up with two ice packs, but it didn’t. However, when I decided to use all 3 ice packs it fit much better. (I was able to close it with all 3 packs after I let it sit for a few minutes before wrapping his hock).I did question the seller on the fact that there is no left and right version of this offered when purchasing a single wrap. In the video on how to use these wraps, it does state to make sure that you are using the correctly labeled wrap for the right and left leg. I was told that the wrap that I received was universal. It was NOT. It was an unmarked right hock, however my horse’s LEFT hock was swollen. The seller sent me a wrap for the left hock and I did note a distinctive difference in curvature from the unmarked right wrap that I first received.The customer service was good as they shipped the second wrap out overnight and the wrap did help, but I do think that the customer should be given the option to choose a left or right version. Apparently, they also have a pony size. All of this is seen in the chart under the product description YET there are no choices given at time of purchase. For this I have deducted a star as two stars seems too harsh. However, this really shouldn’t be getting four stars either until this issue is addressed.

Don’t really work all that well. Plain old leg wrap with ice pack less expensive and stays on best

The idea was great but the design fell short. The ice bag is velcroed (which is convenient) inside but wrapped in material so it can adhere to the inside of the wrap. I felt it took too long for the cold to get thru the material to be beneficial.

These have made a difference with my horse that has sore hocks.
