Not as sturdy as expected; add glue
This accessory serves the purpose for the ring, but it’s not sturdy. You will have to put some glue on it if you want it to stay on. I purchased one for myself & a friend. It pops a loose every time we turn the key to open the trunk or raise the seat for gas.

Spyder key holder
The key holder worked fine. The wire for the key holder didn't work out. Could not get the connection to come apart, ended up throwing them away and using a key ring.

Not a positive key hold retaining system.
Here is why I cannot endorse this style of keyholder: There are no holes in the can am motorcycle keys to positively attach the key to a key chain. I nearly lost a key using these snap-together key holders which can easily separate due to shock (the key and holder falling to the ground etc.) Upon picking the holder up it is possible to pick up the chain and holder sans key. These keys are too expensive to lose in this way. Do yourself a favor and choose a holder that uses SCREWS to fasten the holder together instead of using little plastic tabs that snap and unsnap all too easily.

Good until it wasn’t
This was really nice, the key didn’t have a hole for it to be put on a ring so I got this to address that issue. After about a month or so, I twisted the key to take it out of the ignition and this cover came off. The screws holding it together had fallen out, couldn’t find the tiny things. I put them in tight but never checked to make sure they were not coming loose. Got a replacement from another store and checking the screws often.

Do NOT use pliers to open the metal piece of the wire loop the wire screws out from it
Be careful opening the wire loop. A simple picture showing where it comes apart would help.

Cheaply made and falls apart
If it were possible to give a negative rating I would give one Disappointed with the product received for the price that was paid. Had glue the 2 sides together. Cheaply made, falls apart. Almost lost my key! Definitely DO NOT recommend this product.

Good quality product
Product is simple to assemble with a small amount of crazy glue. Only gave it 4 stars because it is way overpriced, which I didn't realize until after I had ordered it and saw it on another retailer's website for $14.99.
