Wildly Organic Coconut Milk Powder, 8 Oz

I absolutely love this coconut milk powder! The quality is outstanding, and it dissolves beautifully in warm water without any clumping. I bought it to make healthy, sugar-free desserts and homemade ice cream popsicles for my kids, and it turns out so incredibly rich, creamy, and flavorful. I've been using canned coconut milk for years. After using this to make a great coconut cream, I'm looking forward to many uses. We'll see if it ends up replacing the cans. If you want to tropically treat yourself, make a home version of the Soggy Dollar Painkiller. I like to control the sweetness of my drinks, not to mention ingredients, and the coconut part of this recipe is really the only thing you can change up (read a Coco Lopez label sometime - Yikes). Create your own coconut concoction, add in orange juice, pineapple juice, dark rum.... shake with ice, pour over ice, a sprinkle of nutmeg on top, close your eyes and head to the beach. There are several motivational websites if you need precise measurements. Beware desiccant packages in the bag - mine had two. Yes, seemingly a bit clumpy, but dissolved well, tastes great, and the less than 3% maltodextrin is was a buying factor.

i premix a glass jar of coconut milk powder, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper and salt. then it's ready to use a heaping tablespoon with hot water, blend up with a frother and a touch of honey for a perfect beverage. i always toss in a few cacao discs to add some depth of flavor. i was unsure how powdered coconut milk would work after always using canned and i much prefer it this way, mostly for convenience sake but the flavor is delicious. be aware it is naturally a very moist product with high fat content so it is clumpy out of the bag. whatever your useage you might want to sift it when using dried as in baking or blend well when using in a liquid mixture. i love it and am now buying the larger bags.

I like it and cost is right. I’m using it as the coffee creamer. It’s OK. A little thin. I would definitely buy again! May try it if you recipes. Love that it’s powdered makes it very handy and storable.

I absolutely LOVE this Organic Coconut Milk Powder from Wilderness Family Naturals. I had been looking for something healthy to replace the powdered creamer (which contains lots of words that I can hardly pronounce - ugh!) that I used in my coffee and decided to try this product. Wow! Talk about creating an amazing cup of coffee! This is so much better than powdered coffee creamer and it certainly is a fabulously healthier option too because of the good for you saturated fats! I have also used this powdered coconut milk to create a fabulous evening treat for myself by adding a couple of drops of liquid stevia along with a pinch of cinnamon and cardamon to my hot coconut milk! It's amazing what you can do with this product and hot water! It mixes up great and you can create a coconut milk as thick and creamy as you wish and BONUS it's great to use in recipes too!

A dangerous package. It is an opaque gold mylar bag. When I opened it, I poured most if it out to a Mason jar, to keep it freshly sealed on the shelf. Which left about 1/3 in the pouch. And tonight, I finally poured the last of the opaque pouch in the blender to make a smoothie. I THOUGHT I WAS DRINKING GROUND GLASS. When I emptied the blender out, I saw a shredded desiccant package caught on the blades. I had only been crunching (thinking they were ice bits) the "DO NOT EAT" desiccant product granules. You can't put inedible things in a food package without at least warning someone they will be in there! This is dangerous, and I hope not too toxic. It isn't like putting a bag in a jerky package, where you know someone will be taking the pieces out by hand. This is an opaque pouch, and it is not unreasonable that people will pour the powder out of the pouch. Before this happened, I was thinking what a nice product this is. Very clumpy, a bit hard to dispense (which is why I was shaking it from the packet) but it actually has a nice thick creamy fresh flavor. So, great product, but a nasty surprise inside. And no mention of it on the outside, either. These should be recalled and pulled from the market until they clear this up.

I only bought this after getting the non-organic from the same company, after much suggestion. I did so hesitatingly because I have tried coconut milk in cans, in boxes, in bottle, and made from coconut butter. All, along with coconut oil, make me nauseous! I have made my own coconut milk from fresh coconuts. That is delicious and tolerable bu labor intensive. Plus it is rare I find it organic and the non-organic give me a scratchy throat. I am lactose intolerant but still crave sweet and creamy tea sometimes. This does it!! Better than ANY of the above options I mentioned, without the sore throat or nausea or upset stomach. I am thrilled! There is a slight difference between this and the organic. I almost think I like the texture of the non-organic (seems smoother), but I like the idea of organic, so opt now for the latter since the difference is slight. This is now a staple in my cupboard.

I've used this in my coffee in replacement of creamer as I am unable to use dairy, almond, or any store bought nut milk due to the chemicals used to make it creamy. This coconut milk powder mixes very nicely into hot coffee and make it super creamy. The taste is very nice and not overpowering in my opinion. I have not had the opportunity to use it as coconut milk for any recipes but have full confidence that it will do just as the directions explain. This product is worth your try!
