Love it!
I made the dilly bean recipe. Amazing! I want to try the root beer recipe. However, I live in the “Great White North” and with fall/winter approaching I don’t think it is the best idea. Come summer I will be making it.

Table of contents
I added photos to show the table of content. Something I wish I would’ve seen prior. Not many recipes that I personally would use in this particular book. But it does have a good variety and amount of them. Adding the content might encourage you to buy or save you a few bucks. Sturdy book. Pages aren’t notebook paper thin- which I like. With paper pages, You could add notes onto the recipe easily. Might end up using it more when I’m experimenting with odd fruits and items but as a beginner I was wanting something more basic.

Only one soup
Books great for jams and jellies etc. Has no information on cream based soups or chicken noodle soup as is stated in the description. Seems one note on canning.

It doesn't show all that they can.
I wanted to know about veg and meats. There is nothing.

Avoid. Too many unsafe methods for canning and very vague instructions.
After reviewing the content it was clear that too many unsafe and potentially dangerous canning methods are being used.

Poorly Written, Incomplete Recipes
This book would be fine if you were the inside the author’s mind and could access the parts left out.Recipes for Cottage Cheese do not belong in a Canning book.Complete waste of money.
