Alright, so I got these Iconikal Wood Handled Badger Hair Shaving Brushs, and I gotta say, it's a pleasant surprise. The bristles hit that sweet spot—semi-stiff yet soft enough not to feel like sandpaper on your face. No complaints there (but I like it rough, so YMMV.) I tried to use a boar hair brush once, I didn't even need the razor when I was done, because I had no face left - so these are way, way softer than that!Now, if you're into old-school shaving, these craftsman-quality brushes are the real deal. They take you back to the good ol' days of applying shaving soaps the traditional way. Nostalgia points, anyone?The wooden handle and badger-hair bristles definitely add a touch of class to my shaving kit. I feel all 'fancy and sophisticated' now, heh. These work up a great lather on my shaving soap puck, and, whether you prefer a traditional razor or those modern cartridges, it fits in sitting on your shelf or beside your sink just fine. Me? the bristles are a little on the stiff side. But hard to complain when they are this cheap. I use them for traveling so that I don't have to take my good brush.
