These work just like the red ones, but far cheaper with the same pinout. I did think I got one DOA but these just don't have a power LED, which saves about 20ma. The only LED it has is a Blue one that will only blink ones it has a satellite fix, so keep in mind it will look dead until it gets a fix. These work perfect for my project and will probably work fine for yours too. I'm not sure what the "fpv firmware" means if anything. Works identical to the red ones, dropped it right in place of another one and didn't have to change anything. I am using an ESP32 with 3V power, no issues. The included ceramic antenna is fine too. All as expected.

Locked quickly indoors. Good value, all 3 worked flawlessly.

I received three of them, and only one worked out of the box. but I wasn’t super concerned because of the price I guess that’s kind of the risk you take but the one that does actually work is great!

9 of 9 ordered all work well. Fine with tinygps++ and arduino nano. Remember they are 9600 baud, not 4800. First fix can be disconcertingly long indoors but this is normal behavior

Does not work. Sometimes It doesn't let me locate anything. There is no LED activity and I've tried every single one with no avail. TinyGPS library++ doesn't work either. It gives me nothing. So tired of getting things that don't work. If the seller doesn't get back to me this review will stay the same, i'll let you know. edit: they contacted me and issued a refund with some tech support on what i did wrong. great company wont mind buying from them again.
