Love it! Perfect size for my T-Fal deep fryer to strain and store the beef tallow. I looked for strainers and containers when I found this all in one storage container. I do store the strainer separately after washing as the hot tallow fills the container to the top.

Bigger than expected but still useable and I’m happy with it.

I cook a lot of bacon and this is a perfect way to collect the excess fat.It's easy to use.Easy to clean.The lid fits perfectly and is easy to get off and leave the filter on the can so that particles don't get into the grease.I use this constantly. Even the filter screen is easy to clean.Best of all, it's a really inexpensive solution to that grease and oil capture in a home kitchen.

We just purchased a very large pot to cook French fries, and onion rings from scratch. This is something that we used to do when I was growing up so it really means a lot to be able to do this with my family that I created. So many wonderful memories.When you cook in oil, like for French fries, you don’t want to throw out the oil each time. This is just too expensive. The best thing to do is to strain your oil through the metal strainer that is included with this pot. Then you put the lid on until the next time that you will be cooking foods in hot oil.The 4 quart size means that it is big enough so that we can use it for big gatherings, or small gatherings. It doesn’t matter, this pot with the strainer and lid that fit’s snuggly tight. And I can tell you from experience, this is a great strainer, and oil/grease holder. It’s super easy to use, and super sturdy. Just what you need if its main purpose is to hold oil/grease. And to top it off, it looks nice. Not sloppy and like this was an afterthought. The price is incredibly fair.

Easy to use, great size & thickness, top seals well. The strainer fits perfect on the container and most particles remain in the strainer. My daughter purchased me a couple of cheese cloth bags (from Amazon) put the strainer inside placed it back on the container then poured the oil in, cooking oil looks like it came from a brand new bottle.

I bought this container so that I can store cooking oil after using the oil to fry chicken or potatoes. I place the entire container in to refrigerator to help prolong the oil life. The strainer is great, I can place a paper towel in to the strainer to filter out finer crumbs and particles and help prolong the life of the oil. It as a nice bottom pan attached to the bottom for? Much better and safer than using a plastic bottle for storing the oil.
