Convenient For Smooth, Solid Surfaces
Don't buy these if your walls aren't smooth! The Command Strip adhesive works well on non-oily, smooth solid surfaces, but won't work on rough ones. You'll have to drill mounting holes in the plastic. They are fairly thin, but are strong enough to support an Echo Dot. We moved our bedroom Echo Dot from the nightstand to the wall near the TV. This worked great for our application.

This + Suction Cup = Nest Window Stand
Needed a window mount for my Nest Indoor Cam and stumbled upon this. Originally wanted a suction cup mount but decided to buy this along with a set of suction cups. One drilled hole later and we now have a suction cup Nest Cam stand. Material feels sturdy and well made, I don’t foresee an issue.

I can't speak to "adhesion," but I love the product!
I needed a small shelf to mount a wireless access point to a closet wall midway on the first floor of my home. We generally watch TV on that floor, but the signal strength was marginal! The WAP was a bit heavy, and the closet wall was cedar planking, so I felt the load might exceed the capacity of the double-sided adhesive. Since this was to be a permanent installation, I simply drilled holes in the plastic bracket and used screws to attach it to the closet wall.I was able to run a CAT-5 link through a laundry chute between floors to connect to my LAN. The purpose of the WAP was to feed the TV cable boxes on the floor. It works perfectly, signal strength is great, and we now have no problems watching TV on that floor. Prior to adding the WAP, you never knew when the signal would "drop out," but now it's rock solid!

They fall off wall and break your stuff.
These will not stick to any surface it got to the point where i had to use all the pads it gaveFlipped it upside down and added nails and ducktape to keep it on the wall because no matter how you place it the weight is off balance causing it to pull forward i couldnt even but a quarter on it because it would fall off the next day. I genuinely would like a refund but with all the crap i went threw to keep it on the wall i cant return it now.UPDATE: i tried to make it work but at this point these stupid things have caused more then $14 in damage there not worth the trouble they fell down onto one of my speakers and busted it without any weight placed on it and i had duck taped them and super glued them to the wall because the pads they sent and the ones i bought disnt work and i even tried fliping it to see if i could use the holes for support but they still just fell of with nothing on them the oy thing these might work on is flat bathroom tile and even then nothing heavier then 3 pennies im sending it back.

Nice mount
Got my Google nest cam mounted on the wall in the corner with the ceiling. I opted to screw mine into the wall as I had taken down another camera that was mounted. I marked the hole locations on the back, drilled it out for the screws and mounted it in the same place. Will order more if I decide to mount more cams in the house.

Holding a SoundBar well
Used 2 of these to hold a Polk Audio Signa 2 SoundBar on the front my TV Stand. TV Stand is particle board painted matte black The SoundBar weighs about 3 pounds. Was worried about the weight but so far so good. Gave it 24 hours to bond before placing the SoundBar on it. Has been up a couple days and seems solid.

Command strips NOT INCLUDED
These should work for me, however my shipment did not include the Command strips. Not a huge deal, but still a failure in the description of the product. NO vendor gets more than two stars from me if stuff is missing.
