HPC Fire Round Fire Pit Glass Wind Guard (WG38-RD), 38-Inch

This is exactly what I was needing. I live in Oklahoma which is often breezy / windy and this keeps the flames from blowing wildly and potentially being dangerous to people and kids around the fire pit. It also keeps excessive heat off of drinks and items sitting on the hearth around the pit itself. The total were for is around 16 lbs and I do wonder if it could blow off when a big thunderstorm comes through, but I will probably just take it off the fire pit when that happens….

Once it’s on the fire pit it looks great and very sturdy. However, not easy to assemble. The clamps are not set to the same radius as the glass. Hence hard to install the final ones. In addition getting them lined up isn’t easy as you go from panel to panel. A few of the clamps were defected and I called the MFG. They said they would send new ones but I haven’t received them yet and it’s been several weeks. I suspect they needed to order them from the MFG. Overall very pleased with the product just know it’s not easy to work with.

If you think that the little piece of 6” glass is going to block the wind in a several foot wide firepit, you ought to think again.HOWEVER, if you understand that it does help a little with wind, but also helps to keep stuff safer sitting on the ledge. It helps keeping things from falling in. Helps keep debris out. Helps keep kids from reaching in....It is a tad difficult to get all the tabs aligned but thats no big deal.I didnt use the rubber feet.I like it, and would buy it again.

Came well packaged and damage free. The instructions seemed easy enough BUT it was impossible to put together evenly and the rubber/plastic attachments to the bracket screws (because the can’t screw in directly to glass) were not secured and continuously fell out and off the screws. And the rubber stoppers at the bottom of the brackets would not stay in place. Kinds of like juggling glass. Would NOT recommend. Spend more money and get a better quality product.

One of the glass pieces came broken however when the seller was contacted the item was replaced in less than a week! Excellent customer service and we love the wind guard! Thank you!

Looks fancy! Totally blocks the wind so my firepit doesn't blow out anymore. Overall great purchase!

I was a fool for thinking that a 6" glass guard would do anything to dampen the wind on a 36" fire pit. The first time I used it, one of my guests, who was standing about three feet back, took a firenado to the face and singed his beard. This thing looks nice, but looks are all it has to offer. It doesn't increase safety or protect against a breeze.

Perfect for our 36" fire pit. It maintains the fire evenly in the pit even during windy days.
