Great candle - burns well/evenly, and the scent is great for an enclosed room or smaller open space (not strong enough for a 'whole house' open floor plan unless you burn it for a long time). I've burned about 8 hours worth and easily still have 3/4 of the candle left.It's woodsy/smoky with a hint of sweetness. It was suggested to me as a Diptyque 'feu de bois' dupe, and it's close - but not exact if you smell them side by side. It is still a good 'cozy fall' scent though!

This is my all time favorite candle. It burns so evenly and leave a lasting aroma after I blow out the flame.

I am so glad I tried this new candle. It smells absolutely divine: woodsy, earthly, subtle floral notes. It's perfect for an evening spent reading while enjoying a glass of whiskey. It comes in a lovely and simple white box, making it a great gift too.

The smell don’t get me wrong is so amazing when you can catch small whiffs. But small whiffs is about all you’re going to get. Right out of the package i could not smell anything. I’ve tried everything to get this candle to pull some scent with the hot throw i’ve done long burns and over the top candle warming, nothing. after about 2 hours on my hottest setting of my warmer i got a slight sweet baby powdery scent but nothing more. maison louise marie has amazing scents but their quality control is horrendous and it’s not worth gambling 36 dollars for inconsistent scent!

smells like a walk through a tropical garden. good throw, fragrance is the perfect strength for me, though i do prefer strong scents. candle burns cleanly and slowly. worth the money!

I have never smelled the Le Labo santal home products, only the Santal 33 personal fragrance, but that at some length. This candle, even unburnt but left in the sun, creates that aura. The look is tasteful and doesn’t call attention to itself. I will be purchasing enough to maintain a supply.

I was gifted this candle a few years ago and have loved it since. I normally get it in stores but the store i went to recently closed. so I figured I’d try on Amazon. The first one that was delivered was melted all to one side and the box was covered in oils. I was refunded for that candle. I thought maybe sitting in the sun melted it so when the second one was delivered first thing in the morning I went and grabbed it as soon as I woke up so the sun wouldn’t melt it. But it was worse than the first one. I will add I have shipped this candle to some friends as gifts and this has not happened.Don’t take anything from my review about this candle, it smells amazing. But I will not be ordering it from Amazon again. Not sure why they keep being delivered melted like this and unusable.

Now I’m very much alive, but when my time comes I imagine heaven smells like this candle.

I ordered this candle and it cost me almost $70 Canadian. Have. Not burned it yet and smells ok. However, the packaging is all cracking arounf the bottom of the box. Certainly not the presentation I expected for such a pricey candle. Luckily I used a gift certificate I had. Would not recommend

I am always a fan of this brand but this candle is close to no scent not sure whether it’s because it is a really really old n expired candle. The box is tattered as you can see from the images. It’s barely holding it together
