Like a hot knife thru butter
These bits will quickly and cleanly chew thru cast aluminum heads, intercooler piping and anything else you can think of that's aluminum. Great for porting LS heads

Used to machine an aluminum part.
I used these on a drill press with some rigging to create a custom bumper winch spacer out of a large block of aluminum. No problems, still sharp.

Good value.
These burrs make lots of aluminum chips fast. Good value for the assortment.I would like a smaller ball burr and an small cylinder burr to add to the set.

Holy smokes these bits SHRED!!
Wowee!!! Ordered these for my makita as the set i used on my first head were galling up and were VERY ineffective.. I was porting my 383 500hp goal alu ebay knock off heads and finished the first one up -I ordered these cos I was too lazy to degall the ones and figured I would do it some other day -BOOM!!! These bits CHEWED thru the aluminum like it was butter! Beautiful chips flying everywhere, ZERO galling, SMOOTH as heck - I cant believe two almost identically priced sets could be so VASTLY different -I was so used to the previous set being lame and requiring alot of finessing that on my second head the bit literally caught the sides on 3 occasions and went nuts in the hole (ive ported numerous heads) - but I just wasnt ready for these suckers!! They BITE! Be very careful and comb in one direction carefully instead of working in both directions..I did this head in about a third of the time than the prev brand new bits (i was actually on my 3rd one from the galling)..Amazing - Do NOT buy ANY other bits, these will rip your expectations to a new level, and no I am not endorsed/sponsored or given ANY promo deal to write this, they were so good I just had to let u all know-Wear goggles and NO loose clothes/hoody strings/hair etc - Stay safe!

Handy case and great assortment at reasonable price
I just bought a Dewalt 20v Cutoff Tool and needed some deburring bits for it. At work I mostly deal with aluminum, but occasionally steel. This set had a great assortment and a handy case. I got one set for aluminum and one for steel. If they have a set for carving wood I’ll probably get that one too. Deburring bits get a lot of use & abuse so the replacement cost was a major factor in choosing these. I have already used them several times so I’m satisfied.

Better than expected
Cannot lie, I was not expecting these to be so good. For $60 I can only buy 1 burr from my local tool shop. With this kit I got 5 burrs. I've done 2 porting jobs on cylinder heads already and they are still in perfect condition. If buying to port aluminum I highly recommend putting a restrictor on the air gun (if not using electric die grinder). If you set it on a medium speed and go smoothly back and forth these bits will last a long time and will not get clogged with aluminum like they do when the aluminum gets really hot when you go to fast.

Great for grinding aluminum welds fast and don’t clog up.
