I have trained 3 different dogs with this (Australian Shephard, Pitbull/Bulldog mix and Lab) and have had great success. This does not come with instructions so I would highly recommend you getting training on how to properly use this tool before introducing it to your pet for it could do more physical and emotional harm than good.
