I did try some spring mechanisms when prototyping, but the added complication didn't yield better results. **Q: I dont know how i screwed this up but i got the 1/2" stem and need the 1/4" stem. is there a way i can convert this one?** A: Is there an option for you to purchase a 1/2 inch collet for your machine? I just spotted an adapter on Amazon 1/2 to 1/4 inch router bit extender.
