Make sure it is compatible with your specific headset
These ear pads are a fantastic upgrade for my setup! I am absolutely thrilled with how they turned out. They fit perfectly on my SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless headset, and the installation process was much easier than I initially expected. The material feels incredibly soft and high-quality against my skin, providing a significant boost in comfort during long gaming sessions. I’ve noticed they provide a much better seal than the stock cushions, which has noticeably improved the passive noise isolation and overall sound quality. They look sleek and feel durable, making my headset feel brand new again. Highly recommended for anyone looking to refresh their gear!

Worth The Effort To Install
This is my second pair of Wicked Cushions Ear Pads, my first pair being for Sony MDR-V6 cans (which I also reviewed). This pair was a little tougher to install, but with patience and the video instructions, well worth the effort. I bought these for a pair of ATH-M40ƒs monitors and they are a perfect fit. Being slightly "thicker" ("taller" if you think of them laying flat), they hold the earphone can a tiny bit farther from your head, which increases the comfort in my opinion, because you have a little bit more room inside for your ear. Combined with the very soft leather covers and a nicely compliant foam I experienced no fatigue after three hours of listening yesterday. As a critical listener, using a tube headphone amp, I have always reveled in the sound of these headphones and had some concern that changing the pads would change the sound. These M40ƒs phones, which sometimes sounded a bit clinical with transistor amps, have a very pleasing accuracy with my tube amp. Music with significant high frequency energy which can sound "glassy" in these phones when using a transistor amp, retains all of the glorious sizzle and squeak when played through a good tube headphone amp design. Changing the ear pads to these Wicked Cushions pads had absolutely no negative effect on that sound. Since direct A-B comparison is impossible, I can only say that I think I notice a little bit smoother lower bass, especially when the jazz bass is the featured instrument, as in Christy Baron's "Ain't No Sunshine". There's not less or more bass, just what sounds like a smoother frequency response curve. Combining the excellent customer service I received when I had a pre-purchase question, and the super quality look and feel of these ear pads, I am extremely happy with them all around. My favorite headphones are better than new! No more little black specs on my face after listening. YAY!

Excellent replacement for Arctis Pro Airweave Cushions!
First let me preface this for why you might be interested these if you've got an Arctis Pro headset. When I purchased my Arctis Pro Wireless headset over a year ago, I was incredibly impressed by the way it sounded and the overall build quality was great... except one thing. Their "premium" airweave fabric cushions have a lot of "creaking" which is is barely auditable until they're on your ears. After which, at which point it was annoyingly loud. The only way to prevent it was to keep my head as still as possible or turn the music up louder than I wanted. To add insult to injury, the stock airweave pads did little to prevent my ears from touching the drivers. Something you never really notice until a couple hours later when you adjust the headset and realize your ears are sore. I was able to alleviate some of this by carefully applying pressure to the metal band to widen them up a bit, but out of fear of breaking them, there was only so much I was willing to do. And of course when I realized SteelSeries sold leather replacements, I wanted to buy them... in fact, I did buy them. But then a couple days later I got an email saying my order was cancelled and I was getting a refund. Alright, SteelSeries. That's fine. Fortunately for me, these in particular came as a recommendation and I've got to admit, they're impressive as hell. They're no more easy or difficult to install than any other earpads and the fit is tight enough that they feel stock but are just loose enough that at no point did I fear I could rip them. First impressions were immediate. As soon as I put them on, I was immediately taken back to my HyperX Cloud II's which I considered my most comfortable pair of headphones ever. And the thickness seems just enough that my ears don't touch the driver anymore. However what really took me by surprise (though it really shouldn't) was the impact it had on music. Anyone who's used multiple headsets have probably run into both fabric and "leather" earphones, so if you're familiar with the differences, it won't surprise you to know that compared to the stock airweave cushions, bass sounds fuller, volume overall is perceptively louder, and external sounds are going to be quite a bit more muffled. All of which are, in my opinion, perks but your mileage and expectations may vary. Just know that there is a difference. Fortunately in my case, two of the "worst" part of closed headphones are very easily fixed with the SteelSeries Engine software. > First off, Arctis Pro lets you emulate a wider sound. Good if you want that open sensation in your music without the external noise or sharing it with everyone else in the room. > Second, Side-tone. If you're using these for an Arctis Pro and haven't messed around with your sidetone settings (which are a built-in feature to the Arctis Pro) so you while your mic is enabled, you can still hear yourself talk. This is definitely one of the most jarring differences between fabric and leather earpads. I know many people who couldn't care less, but for me, it's very disorienting to talk without hearing yourself and no amount of third-party solutions ever work as well as having it built-in. So enjoy! Overall, there's not much more to say about these. They're well made, fit the model I purchased them for, and came with a host of benefits, some of which caught me a bit off guard. So yes, these come highly recommended.

First Impression with Hyperx Cloud II Wireless
These arrived just the other day, so as of this writing, I cannot speak to durability or longevity. With that said, I would like to offer my initial thoughts and opinion. As mentioned in the title, I am using the WC earpads to replace the stock pads on the Hyperx Cloud II Wireless. The pads arrived on time. The WC packaging is a simple black ziplock style pouch with the company logo on one side, and marketing/product info on the reverse. Inside the pouch, along with the pads was a moisture absorbing gel pack, product card with a link and QR code to installation videos, and a card with a discount for future purchase and Amazon gift card giveaway. With respect to the pads, they appear to be slightly thicker than the OEM pads. This could be an actual increase in thickness or design difference. The surface of the WC pads that contacts your head is “flatter” as compared to the OEM Hyperx pads. This provided, for what appears to me to be, a snugger fit. I liked the snugger feeling and at no time did I feel any discomfort. I initially tested the fit by using the headset with the new pads for roughly two hours with no issues or discomfort. I should also add that I used these while wearing thin wire framed reading glasses. All in all, I am quite pleased with the fit and comfort. Qualitatively, I also felt that the seal provided by the WC pads helped to block out a bit more ambient noise compared to the stock OEM pads. The reason I gave this product four stars and not five stars was the installation process. There was a small learning curve and a bit of finesse installing the first pad. After the growing pains were over, the second pad still required some finesse, but the installation was a tad faster. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this product as a suitable replacement for worn out Hyperx pads, or if you want to replace existing Hyperx pads to try and achieve a slightly snugger fit. I should also add that these comments are in regards to the standard PU Leather pads and not the pads that have the layer of cooling gel.

Great product, great customer support!
Got these for my cloud alpha hetset. Fitting them on can be a bit of a pain but once you get used to how to stretch the thin layer it DOES get easier. I'm on my second set now after wearing out the first one. My only quibble is the surface layer ~could~ be a bit thicker for slightly longer life but I suppose this might impact comfort levels, dunno it just seems super thin. I'm super gentle on mine so I'd imagine folks who aren't as careful with their gear might get rips and tears easily. The pads are thicker than OEM and that's why I got these because the headset was rubbing the outside of my ear. And you'd be surprised how painful just having that press lightly on your ear can become. These pads clear it ~just~ enough to remedy this. ....and as I identify as a camosexual, I DO wish they had more camo choices :P But hey, sexy red camo!!! The pads are nice and dense and wear very well, it took several years for me to wear out the first set. They don't interrupt the sound in any way I can tell and they don't get sore after long....LONG hours of wearing the headset (talking like 12+hrs here). My second set came in and one pad was slightly thinner so allowing the headset to rub my ear. Got in touch with them via facebook and they asked for a pic and a copy of the receipt. They agreed that one was thinner and promptly sent out a full replacement set.....I'd have been happy with just the one replacement but these amazing bastards just sent out a new pair. Not sure what's up with this one that is thinner, I figure it was probably a mixup in packaging or something but hey, they took care of me promptly so they have a happy customer who'll order from them again. I highly recommend both this company and product. If you want a ear pad that is ever so slightly firmer so it holds it's form better, and wears well and is backed by great customer service then you can't beat this one!

Must Have Upgrade For The ATH-M50x
TLDR: These earpads are extremely comfortable and literally improve the sound compared to the stock earpads, buy them!!! These pads are a MUST HAVE upgrade for any Audio-Technica M series headphones! I love Audio-Technica headphones for their amazing sound quality but I've always hated the comfort, I wear glasses and the ear pads press the arms of the glasses very hard and after a few minutes of use it gets very painful. After a few days of enduring the pain I decided to get third party ear pads to improve the comfort. After a little while of looking I found these velour ear pads made by brainwavz and they looked very comfortable but when I received them and put them on my headphones they totally ruined the sound. My pair of M50x's went from sounding very punchy and crisp to sounding thin and tinny, the sound was a major downgrade compared to the original pads. I couldn't enjoy my M50X's with the brainwavz pads so I decided to try pleather pads instead to see if ear pads made with a different material would make my headphones sound less bad while being able to use them without the extreme discomfort the original ear pads would cause. When I was looking for pleather ear pads I decided to try Wicked Cushions instead of brainwavz because I saw they were very popular and well rated, and I'm happy I did because these pads fix are amazing! they are a major improvement compared to the original pads and even the brainwavz velour pads, I've literally fallen asleep when wearing my headphones with these ear pads! They feel like pillows on my ears, I can wear them all day without the slightest of discomfort. The sound quality of my ATH-M50X with the Wicked Cushions PadZ is an entirely different story from the brainwavz velour pads, those pads ruined the sound and made the M50x's sound thin and sad, on the other hand the Wicked Cushions PadZ IMPROVES the sound even compared to the default pads. The Wicked Cushions PadZ do not alter the sound profile too much from the original pads but they do improve the sound stage and the bass. I can't notice any difference in the treble and the high end, but I'm just going off my memory and I've not extensively compared the original pads to the Wicked Cushions PadZ. However the Wicked Cushions PadZ do change the bass response and increase the bass by a small amount, I personally very much prefer how the bass sounds with the Wicked Cushions PadZ it makes the bass go from sounding punchy and tight to rumbly and impactful but if you hate bass you might not be the biggest fan of these pads. Its important for me to convey to you even if these do slightly change the sound profile they do not alter the overall sound compared to the stock pads. The sound is still flat enough for professional use and unless you really hat bass these wont make the sound worse.

breathes new life into an old wireless gaming headphone set
Perfect replacement for my Steelseries Arctis Pro 3. Fits securely with no noticeable sound degradation. Feels comfortable to wear. Video instructions made installation easy--done in less than 2 minutes. Color reminds me of a "simpler" time and looks great!

Oh yeah, these are the pads!
So I have a pair of ATH M50’s the original coiled cable set. I’ve had these cans for about 10 years and they are the best headphones I’ve ever owned. Over time the headband started flaking off which i’m sure everyone who’s had these a while knows what i’m talking about, then the ear pads started getting a bit hard and weathered. At this point I needed to get new pads so I found these here for a very reasonable price. I was a bit skeptical about getting different size pads just because I didn’t want the sound quality of these headphones being lost. So I took a chance and I have to say coming from somebody who is very strict when it comes to sound quality I was actually impressed on how good and almost exact the headphones sounded after these pads were installed. The installation process was very easy just be patient and don’t force the band around or pull it. They’ll go on just fine. They feel super comfortable and almost gave me a fresh breath of air knowing I can slap another 10 years on these comfortably lol. Now here is where I get to the one specific part that I noticed immediately after playing my “Test” track lol. The construction quality is really top notch BUT as you’ll see upon opening them, there is a very soft padded mesh material inside separating the speaker from your ear. Ok great that’s how all pads should be, pretty self explanatory, no harm done very nicely stitched. THAT’S the slight issue with these pads in combination with the ATH-M50’s. As soon as I played a song, I noticed immediately the highs were a bit muffled. Basically picture the highs and a bit of the mids being blocked by that “Mesh Wall”. So what I did to experiment was I took the pads off and folded the band inside out exposing the mesh stitching around the leather. I basically cut next to the stitching on the mesh side all around leaving the speaker exposed. Tossed the mesh, folded the band back to normal, installed the pads back on the headphones and tried again. Ok for those who love the sound of their ATH-M50’s and any other headphones with this pad combination, THIS is the way to go. As soon as I started playing music again, all I can say was WOW .. The highs and mids were all back the way they sounded before. The signature sound of the headphones were not compromised and actually to top it all off, the upgraded pads with the mesh cut out gave a bit of a bass boost without losing ANY other levels!. Long story short, if you want to keep the sound you grew to love with these headphones, do this slight modification. Trust me if you’re a bit like me (OCD) lol, you won’t regret this. Overall the pads are amazing, feel super comfortable, people with big ears like myself will LOVE these lol. I’m very happy I gave this brand a chance.

Très bien
J'avais essayé avec d'autres moins cher, échec complet. Ceux là sont top, mon casque est blanc donc la couleur choisi passe. Sinon c'est confortable, toujours pas autant que les originaux maison s'en approche. On verra dans le temps. Merci

Cheap and decent pair of earpads.
I've been using this for the past few months for my ath-m50xbt, and overall my experience has been great. Surely, you'll loose a tiny bit of the passive noise cancellation that you'd otherwise get with the original pads, but most importantly, the sound signature is still there and it is very comfortable to wear for long hours. Heck, even more so than the original pads. All in all, given its price, this is quite a bang for your buck, would definitely recommend it!

COSTLY AFFAIR
This definitely is such a highly rated product, and deservingly so. The quality is impeccable and the fit and finish is to absolute perfection. I got this for my HYPERX Cloud ALPHA II, and boy did it fit so well......really great...!! Yes, I found one thing, this does comes with a good pair of soft cushion covered by this soft textured fabric, not sure what is this, but looks good, hope this lasts much longer. Furthermore, the inside edges which is used to snug through the cavity/gaps of the headphone speaker is little tight have to be little patient to do it. Yes, it does not have that additional plastic piece that goes between the cavity and the cushion cover edges, this may be specific to the HYPERX headsets, which is a good. But I still removed /snipped them from the older cushion and somehow fitted it inside to have a snug finish of these earpads. ITS A GREAT QUALITY PRODUCT, BUT SURELY VERY EXPENSIVE FOR THE PIECE OF SPONGE AND THE FABRIC USED FOR THE EARPADS.....POSSIBLY BECAUSE THESE ARE IMPORTED......but definitely great product !!!!! GO FOR IT, if you are desperately looking for a good one......you won't be disappointed.

Comodi e confortevoli.
