It works on some items of clothing but not all. The product quality is great and smells good, great value , and easy to use. It really depends on what the skunk actually sprayed and how much of a direct hit you got. I got the brunt of the spray it was only inches from behind me. A skunk sprayed me it got my hand,purse,wallet, shoes, clothes, cell phone case,and the cell phone camera lense. The spray worked on the back of my cell and car keys and two items of clothing, glasses case, but had to throw away the phone case because it took direct hit because I was using my flashlight on the phone at the time. Not knowing or ever having this happen was an experience I never want to go through again. I took everything out of front of purse and threw it in a grocery bag and then threw stuff on the inside of my purse not knowing that the smell would transfer. Washing your items it does not take the smell out or tomato juice or baking soda, peroxide, and dish soap mixture. The key is do not put stuff in the dryer because it sets the skunk spray that is oil based. Almost everything in my purse had to be thrown away, with the exception this spray worked on alot of my items and inside the washers tub it eliminated the smell. We let it sit and then we ran a cycle with bleach through the washer. Yes I will buy this product again. Like I said it saved some of my stuff and I am greatful.

My mom lives in an in-law style apartment and shares an entryway with the home owner. I got this for her when the homeowners dog got sprayed by a skunk and the smell was so strong it transferred to my mom’s apartment. She said went she left for work, even her clothes smelled like skunk. After using the spray, she said it worked great, and the smell that it left was nice and not overpowering. Took the smell out of her clothes, apartment, sheets, and other surfaces or materials she was worried about. I’m so happy it worked for her!

As it takes weeks to get rid of smell would benefit from larger size/ volume option.

The pet store we went to recommended this and we have told everyone that know our stories how wonderfully it works. We were keeping our grown daughters' dogs for a few days. The dogs had gone out for their bathroom outing at dusk and ran right into a skunk. That was the first time they had been sprayed. The next time just as my daughter got to the door to let them in, she smelled it and barely opened the door so she could get out to them, but the smell still spread throughout the house. We had grandkids visiting and they came out to see what was going on - they could smell it in their room. We sprayed this throughout the house and it the smell was gone within a reasonable amount of time. This product is something we now always make sure we have at our house - just in case or for the next time:)

Doesn’t eliminate skunk odor but does help mask or make it more tolerable. Has a strong smell of cinnamon and spice. Does help remove odors from bedding material.

My Dog, I'm call her Einstein, decided to pick a fight with a skunk! Surprisingly, the skunk won. Dah! Then she was smart enough to get wet and then come in the house and roll around on the couch. Like I said, Einstein. The couch smelled like skunk so bad, my eyes burned walking by the couch. Well I bought this product on Amazon based on the reviews. I drenched the couch in this product and 90% of the smell was gone in 20 minutes. I sprayed the product again, an hour later. There is no skunk smell at all. I can't believe how well this product worked. It absolutely does what it says it will do. I have been an Amazon Member for years and I don't know if I ever did a review before. I can't tell you how satisfied I was with this product.
