Yes this product is easy to use a little flimsy plastic the other steamer I have is much thicker and stronger plastic. It works ,we got it because it holds more veggies I guess time will tell if it will hold up.

I love this steamer for my microwave. Easy to use, great size for my needs. Easy to clean too.

So much easier than using the stackable bamboo things that I have. Sometimes you want steamed broccoli in the microwave but not a huge mess like the Pressure Cooker or bamboo… this rinses clean when done. So easy. My only complaint is that it is pretty small but stores easier I guess!

There's just no better way to make vegetables, and cleanup is beyond easy.

It makes great broccoli, I fill the water tray, stick in partially frozen half head of broccoli. I set it for 6 minutes, in an 1100w Micowave, the whole house smelled like broccoli, but turned out great. I put it in a bowl buttered it, some salt and pepper and sprinkled with parmasean cheese, had to microwave for 30 seconds due to the broccoli cooling quickly. You can seperate the water tray from the steaming basket, and then there is a lid. The lid has a hole in it with a swivel plug, you twist the swivel to line up the hole. The whole is pretty big, about a 1/8" so you want to keep it about half way closed. I am going to try rice soon.

I think a dollar store steamer might be better. The lid doesn’t close properly and plastic so thin it warped after the first hand wash/use.
