You really don’t need a primer!
Great quality. You really don’t need a primer. Covered my old dark cabinets in 1-2 coats. Will definitely use this brand again.

It’s NOT One Coat
I purchased this product in Stonehenge Greige. I liked working with this paint, brush clean-up was easy, and it seemed to have virtually no paint odor. The only thing is, it’s too thin to be a one coat paint. I’m so puzzled as to why it is marketed as such.

Got A Project To Do?
I love painting projects. . .when they are done!Eliminating steps without sacrificing the quality of the finished look sounds great. This product from Glidden is advertised to be one coat coverage, with no need to primer the walls first. Did it?With any painting project there are a few things you need to do before you start. Of course you will need decide which paint is best suited for your project.*Flat: Great for walls with imperfections, ceilings, accent walls and low-traffic spaces like dining rooms or master bedrooms.*Eggshell: Great for living rooms, bedrooms and family rooms. More durable than a flat/matte sheen.*Semi-gloss: Semi-gloss paints are as tough as it gets. They’re typically used in children’s rooms, kitchens and baths. After making your selection, you should prepare the project. The better prepped the walls are, the better the finished look will be. Doing things like removing outlet covers, washing off stuck-on debris. Use dry-wall mud (plaster compound) to fill in nail holes, let dry (we always wait 24 hrs). Then sand each. Wipe dust off, vacuum the entire room. Tape off crown/floor molding, ceiling, accent walls.Almost Ready to start painting. We used an angle (cut-in) roller, a 2.5" angled brush, and a "good" tray/roller set. It IS important to use a quality roller. Now, SHAKE the paint. Pour a liberal amount into the tray (do not overfill), roll the paint-roller back and forth, making sure the circumference of the roller is covered. Then on the flat part of the tray roll off excess paint. You do not want drips, blobs, and runs of paint. Now slowly paint all 'cut-in' areas with the small, plastic angle roller and/or trim brush. Then paint large sections - slightly overlapping each edge until the walls are completed. While painting, keep the roller saturated, but not drippy. The smell is not overwhelming (like some we have used). In 30 hours the odor had completely dissipated. For this reason it would be a good choice for painting small or unventilated areas. We used "Cool Concrete, Eggshell." The color name sounds like it is grey. However, it is brown-based - so the final result is a neutral, medium, tannish color. We like the neutrality because it can be paired with any theme, any decor. This paint is rich. It gives the walls more color. . . Everything was covered with one coat, except for the cut-in around the ceiling and the 'joints' where the new walls connected to the original walls. Those needed a second coat. But compared to priming and applying two coats to the entire room - those areas were no big deal.Using This paint cut the labor, time (start to finish), and stress of the house being in disarray in half. We liked the finished look so much we purchased the color "Tattle Tail" for the accent wall in the family room. The combination of these two colors looks really, really good. My granddaughters take over the family room when they are here. It is super important the paint be easy to clean. Painted twenty-some days when the youngest smeared grape jelly on about a 4 inch section. I didn't notice until it had dried. I used dawn dish soap on a rag, removing the jelly. Then using a new cloth, wiped the area dry. There were no visible signs it had ever been there. In a nutshell: The options are nearly limitless. There are many colors and three finishes to choose from. The smell isn't bad and dissipates quickly. Using this paint definitely made our project easier and we are happy with the finished look. I would purchase this product again, for use in my home. Therefore I can recommend it to other shoppers.

Moth Gray Is Subtle And Inviting
I am a fan of this versatile product line from Glidden. I've been getting their "One Coat" Eggshell Interior Paint + Primer for a while now. It costs a bit more, but simplifies the painting process. The Moth Gray hue is suitable for total wall coverage and also makes a great accent color. I find it to be a slightly darker version of their Off White. The cans ship with the lid double secured. It is easy to open though, and all I need to do is shake it up a bit (or stir) and then pour it into my pan. It rolls onto the walls smoothly and doesn't splatter easily, though that is always a concern. It can have some streaks at first but it evens out when it dries and provides excellent coverage. You may need to touch up in corners, but generally one application is all it takes to cover the previous paint and marks on the wall. One Coat of Eggshell (Satin) has excellent opacity and the finish is somewhere between flat and semi-gloss. It can be used just about anywhere in the house. I enjoy the oh so slight shimmer that finish gives it. It dries quickly (but not too quickly) and is durable as all get out after 24 hours. It is simple to wipe clean with a light cleanser or soapy water. There is the distinct scent of paint when applying it, but nothing offensive or too intense so don't worry about using it in confined spaces. It dissipates quickly in 12-36 hours. Colors are a personal preference, and I find the Moth Gray hue to be calming and classy looking - very cozy and cottagy. Cleanup takes a little time since this is such a thickly pigmented paint, but it is easier than some other brands I've used in the past, and a lot easier than oil based paints. You pay a premium for this top of the line Glidden, but you do get money's worth. I can't speak to the lifetime guarantee, but it does add peace of mind that it will last.~ Kort

It ain't white
I ordered Antique White. The overall background color Glidden's Antique White which I got from a local seller. The color on the right, which is beige, is what I received. It is not Antique White, which is really a very pale Gray. I did not return it because of the bother and because the shelves are in a closet.
