How does the can only have 40 calories but yet 19g of carbs? 4cals x19g carbs  = 76 cals

Thank you for the question.  Sambazon determines the nutritional and caloric content of each finished product by sending the product out to a nutritional validation lab.  We use that information to create our labels to ensure we are always using the correct information.  For this product and others, specifically those with  alternative sweeteners, the calculation of 4 cal per 1gram carb may not always be correct.  How the body uses the carbohydrate may be a factor.  In this product we have an organic erythritol, this is a naturally fermented sweetener that is 70% as sweet as sugar yet it is almost non-caloric, does not affect blood sugar, does not cause tooth decay and is almost completely absorbed by the body but is not used for energy or calories.  Each gram of erythritol counts as one gram of carbohydrates but these are non-nutritive carbohydrates thus they would not be added to the caloric content of the product.

How much caffeine is in these?

The cans used to have the caffeine content at 70. Now it just says it’s like 2 shots of espresso. I’ve been drinking these for a while and I’d say 70mg is about right.

How much caffeine is in a can? i need an actual amount. not "1/2 cup of coffee, etc". all coffees are different. even an estimate would be nice.

If you read the information below the paragraph titled gormulation it has each drinks mg. The acai passion has 150mg all the rest have 120mg caffeine. Of course I assume it can vary a cpl mg a test; due to variance in the fruits of yerba mate', guarana and tea crops. One can assume the testing doesn't occur for every batch of every food and drink item in our groceries. I have to believe certified contents are tested more often but for contamination not content of nutrients. I don't doubt the industry said we'd be happy to make it less cost effective to consumers. She says in sarcasm. 🙄
