Most comfortable shoe ever!

I purchased these as a gift for my grandson who is currently on his feet a lot as a missionary in the northeast U.S. In 9 months he wore out two pair of other brand shoes of similar style. I can't yet attest for longevity on this one but I hear good things about Ecco. My grandson likes slip on shoes but sometimes they are sloppy. He has worn 8 1/2 to 9 in other shoes. I bought the 8-8 1/2 and this was perfect for him. The next size up would have been too big. He commented that the heel is higher than he is accustomed to but he will get used to this. The comfort bed is nice but I think it might break down easily. That said, replacement insoles or additions should be easy enough to obtain. I'm very happy that he did not have to return another pair of shoes for fit problems. I'm happy with this purchase.

The shoes seem well made and are very comfortable. The brown shoes are very dark and almost appear black in low light.

What I liked the most was just how comfortable they were right out of the box. They seemed to fit perfectly. I've had them for three months now and wear them for work just about every day. The cost was what I would consider a bit high, but if comfort in a dress shoe is what you are after it's worth it!

This is my 2nd pair of Ecco slip-on shoes and I am pleased with the fit, comfort and quality, which I have come to expect with the Ecco brand! Fit was as expected but I did find that the upper portion of the leather edges at the heels were a little more narrow, making it slightly difficult to slide my heels into the shoes. This was possibly caused by the new shoes packaging and I may try to use an adjustable shoe "butler" to try to "train" them to stay more open when not being worn. I am optimistic this will solve the small inconvience. Totally satisfied with my purchase!

These are marvellously comfortable shoes, make no mistake. They fit like gloves, and the soft leather moulds to your feet from day one. However, given that they are smart enough for business wear, it is worth pointing out that the soft leather also creases as you walk, and those creases break up the shine and tone of the shoes, creating matte and lighter areas within the normal dark semi-gloss finish. It won't be a deal-breaker for most people, I suspect, but if you want these shoes to look smart, the creased areas need repolishing regularly.Edited 06/08/2023. I've reduced these to one star because I'm now thoroughly fed up with them. The natural creasing will not hold a shine of any sort, rapidly breaks into a sort of dull haze, and after walking any distance in them the shoes just look dirty and untidy, certainly not smart. They are still wonderfully comfortable, but Ecco should have used a different quality of leather or finish on them, because the current one just doesn't work as it should for the (quite considerable) price charged. Very disappointing, but after not very many days' use I shall now be getting rid of them

Took a gamble with the size when purchasing this. Was a bit tight initially but dual fit saves the day. Comfortable to wear for long hours and fits my feet well.
