Good clarity, nice compact size
Great screen for a compact server setup.I bought this to attach to the chassis of a Dell Optiplex 5050 I had gotten from work that was decommissioned. This fits perfectly with velcro on the side of the chassis and I can easily work on it and run scripts as needed.

Perfect for my setup
I do the AV for a small church. Using a laptop, we project PowerPoints to a large projector screen in the front. However, when the speaker is changing slides s/he needs to turn around to verify the correct slide is showing on the screen. Therefore, I split the HDMI signal from the laptop and sent the second signal to this mini monitor and placed it on the podium. Now the speaker can change the slides and see the presentation on the podium without having to turn around. This setup works flawlessly and was relatively inexpensive to set up. I was worried that the resolution would be an issue (1080p from the laptop), but it works perfectly. My only wish is that this monitor had a backplate to cover the exposed ICs. I understand that is monitor is designed for Raspberry Pi, but a backplate would be a nice option. Overall, this does exactly what I need it to do at an excellent price point.

Solid budget screen
Product works as advertised. My personal screen arrived with a single dead pixel, but I'm not dissatisfied with it overall. I may try some DIY fixes. The bare electronics on the back are actually pretty cool. The small screen size allows for a lot of flexibility in use, and is great value for the price compared to others

Great screen for a great price
Purchased to place inside new PC case. The screen may take some troubleshooting to get working, like custom resolutions. I had to fuss with the AMD driver/software (adrenalin edition) and after selecting the display, found under 'overrides' something called 'preEmphasis' and that got it working. Took over a day to get it working, it was a bit of a chore. Had some trouble finding the best spot to show off the display as well as be able to read it but once this is done it looks fantastic. I ended up laying it down facing upward towards the ceiling and placing inside the case atop the power supply. so facing up and not out. Oh and windows 10 gives resolution options 1280x1024 down to 800x600, after I got it working I was able to set 1280x1024 and run wallpaper engine and viewing angle aside, screen looks great. hooked up to an extra hdmi from the gpu card and usb 3.1 slot, come with these connectors. Not sure if usb 2.0 will work

Don't Buy! Changed my review. One year old and has horizontal lines without even much use.
I am changing my review now that I have had this for a year using it occasionally with my R-Pi. In the one-year timeframe, the display has developed the infamous white-lines of a dying monitor. This display has had a very easy life in an environmentally controlled conditions and only very occasional use. Probably less than 10 running hours on the display total. Looking at other 1 and 2 star reviews I can now see that these displays are cheaply made with poor adhesives or whatever is supposed to hold the connections together. If the manufacturer cares enough to make this right for me, I will change my review. If not, be warned that this could just be another company doing the bare minimum to get passed the return period.

Meh...
There are better screens out there in this size. This is really a bare bones screen. No over plates on the back and fully exposed. Could have been a lot better of a product. Feels lacking in many ways.

Simple but works
I got it with the intent to use with a RPi 4 but haven't done that yet. But I hooked up to my Windows 11 PC and have been using as a hardware status monitor which it works well for that. The image quality is what you'd expect for the reported resolution, functional but nothing special. It uses a standard micro USB for power (manual says to make sure your USB 5V power supply gives 2A).The display is bright but no dial to adjust the brightness but that wasn't expected at this price point. There is a little power on/off switch on the side. There's not case for the display but it comes with a small adjustable stand which is a nice touch.I have a 3d printer so might try to print a case at some point. I emailed the HAMTYSAN but they didn't have any STLs to give or suggest. If someone comes develops or comes across a good STL for this screen please post in a review.
