High expectations, a little disappointed
I have high arches, some overpronation, and am a heel striker. I run up to 20 miles per week in addition to strength training. I was previously running in the Excursions which I LOVE. I wanted to start integrating an 8mm heel-toe-drop with my 12mm because I know that they are supposed to help you become a better runner and the 8mm and below seems to be the trend.I loved the color and the fit of these shoes and couldn't wait to take them for a run. I wear an 8 1/2 and feel like these are pretty true to size. I wore them for a quick 3 mile run and barely made it. The pain in my calves was insane. I could feel my strike was changing to more of a mid strike in these shoes so I figured I just had to get used to it. I tried a 5 mile run a few days later and only made it 1 1/2 miles before going back home to switch shoes. The pain in my calves was like someone stabbing me repeatedly. And again, I also do strength training at least twice a week so my legs are pretty strong.I started wearing them more around the house and to the gym. 2 weeks later I took them on a 5 mile run and felt great. I was so excited! BUT THEN, I ran 10 miles this Saturday and after my 6th mile I began having major pain in my arches and knees. So I just don't know what's up with these shoes. I guess I'll just keep wearing them to the gym and on short runs.

Pink Tennis Shoes
I love these pink tennis shoes! I get a lot of compliments from people because these are so cute and not like any other pink tennis shoe I've seen. I take high impact aerobics class twice a week and my feet tend to fall asleep if the laces are tied too tight. I ended up replacing the laces with elastic laces and that's much better for my feet. The shoe fits my foot very nicely and has a good arch and wide enough toe box. I'm an in-between size of 7 1/2 - 8 and after reading reviews decided to buy the size 8. It was a good choice. The only thing I would complain about is that the tread doesn't keep me from sliding on the wood floor in the class. Many exercises we have to spread our legs as a lunge and I have to be careful not to slide my feet out from under me and fall. I wish the tread was a little grippier, but otherwise I love the shoe. UPDATE: I have been using these for my "step aerobic" class and have found they are comfortable and fit nicely, but they are a little slippery on the wood floor. I find that I have to be aware of my leg stretchings so that I don't go sliding across the floor. Otherwise, I like them and get lots of compliments because they are so cute!

My Favorite Running Shoe
I love Saucony running shoes. I put on my old ones the other day, and realized they had seen too many miles and I needed new Saucony running shoes for spring training. I love putting on a new pair of running shoes, and having them fit perfectly! I like the fit of these better than the Hurricanes. (I also have the Kinvara, but they do not have enough support for me, they feel awkward, and I don't like them). I love the stable base of these shoes. The only reason I give this review a 4 instead of a 5 is because of the insole. That has no support. Right out of the box, I tossed the insoles and replaced them with BLUE Superfeet arch support insoles(I have low arches), and my running shoes are heavenly! I went for a 8 mile run outdoors on streets still covered with some snow, lots of sand, some muddy spots, and some potholes, and my new running shoes were great! On a last note, I will switch out the laces too. They are a little too stretchy.

Great cost
I saved a very significnt amount of money with purchasing these online. I was a little dubious due to the bad review of the shoe but I love their features. I have worn Power Grid 7 and 8 so took a chance. There is an eyelet which is a bit out of place and looks loose so check the product in a shop before buying online as you may not like that feature. I have swapped from running to tri so not logging as many miles. I think I would buy a different pair if I was running more than 30k per week due to this lace up problem. I wear them sockless with elastic laces and they are the first shoe ever bought (15 years a runner) that I have not had exteme blisters from. Very comfortable, no rubbing.

Like walking on a cloud!
That's what I thought when I first tried on these shoes. They feel like walking on a cloud. For someone who suffers from Plantar Fasciitis, that means a lot. I am a power walker, not quite a runner yet, but these shoes just fit my feet. The arch falls in the right place for me and the toe box has plenty of room so my toes can spread and stay healthy. The ventilation is excellent and they are holding up well so far. They were comfortable from second one when I first put them on. The heel area holds the shoes in place and they are very stable through your stride. I wear a 10 in most street shoes, but I bought a 10.5 in my walking shoes to allow my toes plenty of room to spread, so I would recommend trying them in 1/2 size longer than you would normal street shoes, because so often we wear our shoes just fitting, rather than leaving plenty of toe room. My foot is on the narrow side, and these shoes seem to fit narrow-footed people well.

Most Comfortable Shoes EVER!!!! Recomended for flat feet!!
I have been buying from Amazon for many years and this is my first review. I felt that strongly about these shoes!I have flat feet (well mostly flat, I have a very slight arch) and can never seem to find comfortable shoes. I stand on concrete floors all day and my feet usually ache at the end of the day. I have purchased many shoes to try to relieve the pain (a plethora of tennis shoes, ugly nurses shoes, pretty much anything that were considered comfortable) but the pain persisted. I thought it was just a given because of the concrete floors and gave up hope. Then I bought these shoes....I have had these shoes for a few weeks and wear them every day. My feet don't hurt at all!!!! It is amazing! I never realized how miserable I was until the pain was gone. BEST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE!!! I plan on buying every version of the Triumph I can get my hands on. If you have flat or mostly flat feet BUY THESE SHOES NOW!!!!

Great trainers - once I got used to them
I am your basic middle-aged jogger, doing about 20 miles a week. My previous Saucony trainers had given up the ghost so I started researching a new pair. after looking at what seemed like millions of reviews and web pages I went for these.1. I wanted some stability - not loads, but enough to help my dodgy ankles2. I need more cushioning now my joints are over 403. I don't like pink very much4. I wear a 6.5 and have narrow feet. They arrived from the seller and I was a bit disappointed as although they came well packaged and on time etc, they were obviously a return - with a dirty sole. I didn't mind that much as they were a great price, but it wouldn't have nice if that had been made clear on the page when I bought them. This is the only reason they have 4 stars from me.The first time I went out in these, my hips hurt. This was because I used to higher heel of my old trainers. I am now used to my new ones, which weigh almost nothing and are a flatter foot for a better mid-sole strike. They fit really well and are great for my narrow feet - not one blister so far. They are also really visible, great for evening runs!

RECOMMENDED! From Triumph 8 to Triumph 9!
The Triumph 8 was perfect for me and that is why I was hesistant to order the 9. But I did, and after my first run with these new shoes, of 15km, it is confirmed that it is the same shoe, only a new model with better features. I went from 8 to 9 without any blisters or others trouble!!:-) And It is a shoe for the Neutral runner.

Great
Great fitness trainers comfortable and ideal for training. Bought them for attending a boot camp which involves lots of circuit training and they are perfect ideal for what I require. Good quality and look like they will last. The delivery was very quick as well so I'm very satisfied overall and would. Recommend

Did not last very long
The inside padding on the heels went in a couple of months. These are much poorer quality than previous Sauchony shoes I have had and I am wondering whether to buy the brand again (I have previously purchased this brand over a number of years)
