Ultimate Washer UW16-PWCD05 1/4-Inch Stainless Steel Quick Connect Pressure Washer Adapter Set, Max Pressure 5000 PSI Rating

These quick connects are made from what appears to be high quality stainless steel at a price that's barely higher than the brass ones I have bought locally at Lowes. Since Lowes almost never has these in stock I had to look elsewhere and found these on Amazon. I have used them for several years now. They do eventually wear out as might be expected. I do not use these at very high pressures and I'm not using mine with a pressure washer, but a special sprayer I have at 400 to 600 psi normally. I do use this sprayer almost daily and I get quite a lot of use from these before having to replace. I cannot say that they will last longer than brass quick connects and seriously I doubt they do since the only part to wear out are the inner o-rings. At this price though I doubt you could go wrong buying a few sets of these.

Usually these things have a built in check valve one the quick release side which goes on the compressor and doesn’t let air out.. These don’t have that check valve, or at least mine didn’t. They seemed like decent quality if that’s what your looking for though.

I purchased this quick connect thinking that I was buying a quality product but it is not. I connected it to my pressure washer according to the directions utilizing a good quality Teflon tape which was applied correctly. I experienced a very big leak. I removed the fitting thinking that I did not utilize enough Teflon tape. I reapplied the Teflon tape utilizing a larger amount and it still leaked. I removed the fitting once more and reapplied it utilizing a brand new role of Teflon tape thinking the Teflon tape may be defective but again I experienced a significant leak. I can not recommend this fitting as it apparently is very poor quality and is not capable of being utilized without leaking. 2 thumbs down and ZERO stars.

If you want to add to your existing pressure washer so you don't have to stand on ladders, this is for you. Used this and 2 sections of high pressure 1/4" stainless Steel pipe and quickly washed my siding from the ground level. You may need to rest or design a sholder harness because of the added weight, but better than falling of a ladder.
