Product delivered is as advertised. Quality is good (better than cheap crap from big box store). Cannot comment on function since it is just installed and project is in rough framing stage. Installation was easy.

My husband was able to diy a pocket door for a closet with this using a door that we already had. We were even able to get the soft close to work, which was not the case with a different pocket door kit we bought for another door. We liked this one better.

Easy to install. Works very well. Smooth, quiet mechanism. Maybe a bit too smooth. Over time the weight of the door (8 footer) has caused the bar to bend ever so slightly. So the door opens an inch after closing by itself AND closes an inch after opening by itself. Otherwise solid.

Great product, definitely worth the price. Perfect fit and easy to follow instructions. All you will need to finish this project is a door and hardware and you’ll have the perfect pocket door.

Soft close is a plus, but it also makes it a little harder to pull out the door

Ordered this pocket door hardware for our powder room with a 24 x 80 inch solid core door. One of the reasons for selecting this product was the square tube steel framing for drywall. Overall quality of materials and installation instructions were great. Originally, the soft close mechanism did not work properly - it was too difficult to open/close from the rest position. Seller got engaged and their support towards a resolution has been amazing. They are in the process of replacing the soft close mechanism.

Nice quality metal pocket door frame! Hard to find one that isn’t made of flimsy scrap wood. This one is great. Lots of steps to follow for install but if you take your time it’s pretty easy. The one downside with the slow close/open is you can’t adjust where it soft opens once you have drywall up. You can’t reach the part that engages the piston once drywall is on. So make sure you put your door on and test it before putting drywall on.

I've installed a lot of pocket doors over the years and the kits available locally are really poorly made so I went looking for alternatives and found this kit. I'm really pleased with it and it will be my go too going forward. The soft close / open hardware worked really well and the vertical steel support posts worked great. Overall a good buy.
