I brought 2 as Christmas gifts for my mom and mother in law and they both absolutely loved it! The size is perfect if you are using it for yourself to transport your snacks when relaxing at home or if you are hosting a small dinner party. It looks very expensive and is well made and easy to assemble. I will be buying more as wedding/house warming/hostess gifts!

The first time I ordered this cheese board, it arrived cracked in half. Rather than go through the hassle of returning it, I just purchased another one (the price was very cheap). The second one arrived in one piece and met my expectations. The board is a great size and the handle makes it much easier to move around. The rough edge of the slate gives it a slightly rustic look, but the gold handle classes it up.

The screw doesn’t fit into the handle which defeats the purpose. The metal washer is also bent. I am left trying to find a new screen that fits or keeping the slate part as a plate with a hole in the middle.

Literally started chipping and leaving black flakes on my cheese after the first use. Tried to gently hand wash it to see if the loose flakes come off it would stop chipping off but to no success. Would not recommend unless you like black slate chips on your food!

I bought two of these as gifts and now I want one for myself! They are high quality for a good price. Assembly was easy and straightforward. Would definitely buy again.

It was broken in half when I got it, too bad I was traveling on the day I got it so I couldn't return it!!!

Very delicate. I’m nervous pieces of slate are going to break off during my dinner party when people try to slice cheese like a few pieces did when we took the platter out of packaging. He picture also makes it look much shinier. It’s very dull in person, but may be okay for chalk labeling purposes. Considering returning.

Very thin and not exactly what I expected. The price was so good that I decided to keep it.

Packaged well and looks exactly as shown, already used it on Christmas Day! I'm very happy will order more VonShef products in future.

This arrived really quickly and looks good. It may be worth 5 stars but I’ve given it 4 as I haven’t used it yet. However, quality looks good and I think it’ll be ideal for serving all kinds of food, not just cheese. I tend to plonk everything on a plate so this will take things up a notch!

I can get about 4 cheeses on it without crackers. Easy to put together.
