Works on Primary Arms SLX 4-16 44mm!
The good: I was having a hard time finding a sunshade to fit on my primary arms scope. After many hours researching and contacting the manufacturer I was not getting anywhere. Took a chance on this one. And it fits! The bad: none of these effect it’s purpose. Also, keep in mind that I’m using this on a different brand scope. There is a small gap between the shade and the scope. I also used a little 3in1 oil on the threads as the threads are a little rough. The black is slightly off hue. But, for the difficulties I was having finding a sunshade, this one was worth the purchase. I decided on this knowing my scope was originally manufactured in China. (Many are…) And some of the other reviews stating this fits several other scope brands. Many scope manufacturers use their own thread size and pitch. This may or may not fit your scope, I got lucky on the first draw.

Manufacturing variation
Not 44mm. This shade must have a wide range of actual size..i have a Primary Arms 4-14x44 that others say this shade fits. The shade is received was tok small and sliced right in without engaging the threads at all. I used some thread tape to make it snug, but it's certainly not tightened.

Works great on the Leatherwood scope. Can't say it is universal but if it is, it works great. You won't regret it.
Really keeps the reflection down from your glass. I got it for my Leatherwood scope and screwed on tight without any issues. Makes my scope look about two feet long on my rifle, but for the money it is a great scope. Like everything in life, you get what you pay for, but this was a surprisingly good purchase and the sunshade enhanced it's effectiveness.

Did not fit
Purchased this for a Primary Arms 4x-14x with a 44mm objective. Did not fit.

Works for primary arms 4x16 44 FFP
It is not definitely made for primary arms by how the fitting looks but all threads fit perfectly without issues. Worth the money

The Hi-Lux Optics SSD44 Sunshade works perfectly with the Cabelas Intensity LR 44mm scope.

About 2mm Too Big
It’s slightly too big for the optic, so it doesn’t fit. I don’t know what system of measurement they use. It would be great if it fit, because it seems well made otherwise.
