The woven bread basket provides a snug home for this stunningly beautiful warming stone. After preheating the warming stone in the oven I placed it inside the woven basket, then placed them both inside the top layer of my double decker food carrier (see my review). This "preheated" the hot side of my carrier. I placed frozen lunch box packs in the bottom layer to pre-chill the layer I used to transport my "snack" box (see my review) full of assorted pickle and olive relishes. The warming stone and woven basket more than exceeded my hopes. The bread arrived warm and melt in your mouth delicious just waiting to be buttered.The attention to detail is awesome: the basket weave is tight and holds its shape well. The fit of the warming stone inside the bottom of the woven basket is just about perfect. And the unique meadow flower s design pressed/carved into the warming stone is beautiful. I did swap out the neutral beige tea town with a deep green "Give Thanks" towel.I am very pleased with the functionality and beauty of this serving set.

Great hostess gift, attractive,well made, keeps bread warm but you can still pass it around without burning yourself.

I purchased two of these, for my mom and mother-in-law for a Mother’s Day gift and they both were thrilled with the gift! They look great in the pictures, but in real life they are even better! The baskets are beautiful and very well-made. The stone design is gorgeous and worthy of a display piece. A great gift or purchase for yourself!

Super cute and works well to keep bread warm. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars, is I wish it came with a linen cloth or cover.

So very happy with this purchase. The basket and stone are both beautiful and amazing quality. It was the perfect size for a loaf of freshly sliced bread, some rolls or croissants. We made it into a gift basket with a nice bread knife, some olive oils, some chocolates and jingle bells. It was adorable and our friends loved it.

This was a Housing Warming gift. Wish I had bought one for me.
