Having read the one-star reviews on this cat tree, I was braced for the worst. And sure enough, the package we received was pretty banged up-- torn open at one end, loosely constructed, possibly a re-package and sloppily taped togther. But the contents were securely bagged in plastic of a good weight, and all components were present and in good, new condition.We had selected the branchy version of this product, with the fall gold leaves. What we received was just as pictured online. It went together super easy, no problem with the hardware. The sisal seems very secure. The assembled tree looks really good and now it's just waiting for the cats to come in and start testing it.So this is kind of a provisional review. I did want to make the point right away that we seem to have gotten what we paid for and it's all good so far despite the shabby packaging. Time will tell whether I upgrade to that fifth star.

Best toy/scratcher purchase this year. I have a big orange boy 18lbs and a smol mackerel tabby boy 9lbs, 5 and 3 years old. It’s tall enough for the big boy to have fun and for the smol boy to climb and not fall over. The smol boy is rambunctious so if he he has a running start before jumping on it he does knock it over every once in a awhile. They both play with it everyday multiple times.Wish the seller still had the orange leaves one in stock. I was going to buy that one next :(

I have 2 female rescue kittens I just had spayed so, I have to keep them inside with cones on their heads for 2 long weeks Ugh! They Love this item and so do I.My den theme is Beach and Fishing so it's really cool! :)

We've been through several scratching posts but this time I wanted one that was nicer looking. I found this one that fit in perfectly with my plant filled living room. The cats took to it right away and use it almost daily. My younger cat managed to rip one of the leaves on the top a little bit but he's a psycho so I don't think it's a failure of the product itself. Otherwise, it is holding up nicely and I'm happy with the purchase.

We have a little corner we usually keep a scratch post - this one is a great find, perfect for Fall or anytime of year, very pretty and useful all in one. We’ve gotten a lot of compliments and shared the link to to others to other cat moms - highly recommend!

My cats LOVE this scratcher. It seems very durable and they love to climb it. My male cat (in picture) will chew on some of the leaves but looses interest quickly and goes back to scratching and annoying his sister. I thought at first I was crazy for paying so much for a scratching post but they love it and it matches my pseudo tropical theme on my patio-catio purrfectly. Considering getting the fall looking one for next season. Also, it comes with a small pouch of catnip. My cats love catnip, and apparently this small pouch contained the best catnip they've ever had because it never made it on the scratching post- they attacked it while I was unpacking - hours of fun.

I like this more than my cat. It looks very nice. It was pretty simple to put together (maybe took 10 minutes total). The leaves have wire though they length so you can bend them to look more natural. It is basically an artificial plant your cat can use as a scratching post too.

Bought this a couple months ago and it’s great! This product is very sturdy. My cat is tall and about 15lbs and he can stand on his back feet and scratch the very top comfortably. Usually he has to squat to use a scratching post but this fits him well. I bought a different product first and the base of it broke immediately when he used it. This one is very sturdy and has multiple base layers to provide support. It just proves that “you get what you pay for.” This product was worth the money.
