Highwood Hamilton Counter Height Deck Chair, Coastal Teak

Got this for my dad as he has a hard time getting up from normal height chairs. He can just slide off this in a standing position.Went together easily. It's sturdy. It's the perfect height for older people to get up from. The foot rest is nice. Overall, it is fairly comfortable. Can't speak to how it holds up in the weather yet, but there shouldn't be a problem given the material.My only issue is I just got one. Should have gotten two.

They are extremely easy to put together. They come partially assembled with two pieces to put together. There is no squatting to sit in these Deck Chairs. You just sit directly into them if you are 5’4. They are Balcony height. They are heavy once you put them together. These are high Quality Deck Chairs. I purchased two in Federal Blue and recently purchased two in white. (I have not received the other two yet) My next purchase will be in Red. I am so happy with these Deck Chairs. You can’t go wrong if you buy them. Thank you Highwood and Amazon.

Love them. I was looking for something I could put on my deck that would allow me to see over my new railing (that is much taller than the old one due to building code) and these are perfect. They sit comfortably, like an adirondack chair, but taller, so the railing doesn't block our view. I was afraid they would feel "upright" rather than comfortable, but that isn't an issue, the backrest is very comfortable. They were easy to put together, they are VERY sturdy, and they look like wood that has been painted black, which is exactly what I wanted. I can't really come up with a negative - the armrests are even plenty big enough to hold a drink. We are going to look at adding the tete a tete tables in between, which look like they would fit our situation perfectly. We are very happy with what we chose.

First off, the chairs I received were dining height, NOT counter height as clearly advertised and as displayed on my invoice. However, Amazon offered these at a steep discount, presumably because they were the last two in stock, so I kept them for use elsewhere than intended. They were easy to assemble, even using the supplied allen wrench and the vague instructions. I honestly was surprised at how well they went together; all of the screw holes were perfectly aligned, and none of the bolts (which seem to be of great quality) were missing. The chairs seem very sturdy, but I have not had them long enough to really weigh in on that aspect. Likewise, I cannot yet speak to their comfort, though I can already say they are somewhat (but not uncomfortably) narrow. The red color is blah - think 'Americana' or a drab, faded barn red. I expected this, but chose them anyway due to the discounted price, so I really can't complain about that. Ultimately, for the price I paid, if they truly do last a decade while withstanding rain, blistering sun, snow, and freezing temps, I will be very pleased with this purchase. (Note: If Amazon had sent the correct height, I would have given these five stars.)

Realistic wood finish, easy assembly and nice weight so the chair won't slide around. Also, very comfortable. A great chair for our dock.

We have 4 highwood products and they never disappoint. High quality, reasonable assembly, and great look. I imagine these will last for years to come. Thanks Highwood for great products and great design

Does not come with all of the hardware. I purchased 4 of them and several had either missing screws or has holes that won’t hold the screw.The foot boards have a hole for a stew but didn’t come with any.I would not recommend this product. The only thing I really love is the color!

This chair is good and solid. The color is also nice. However, it is a narrow seat. Friends also tried it out and said it was too narrow. Otherwise it is comfortable--nice and upright. I am not buying a second one however.
