Unexpected surprise! I have four bathrooms and my guests are pleasantly surprised. I love them

I absolutely love this product. Since I'm getting up there in age (59), I find I have to get up at least once or twice during the night to relieve myself. These toilet lights are wonderful because you don't have to flip a switch and be blinded by bright lights. The motion sensor picks up my movement right away (and if not, move it to a better position). I love the subtle colors they offer (I prefer the Aqua color the most). It lights my path and stays on for a while. Should it go off during your visit, just wiggle your leg and it comes right back on. I can't live without this product now as this particular model offers you several levels of brightness once you select the color you want. That's always a challenge for me when you have to change the batteries (resetting it). I use Amazon rechargeable batteries and they seem to last a good while before having to be recharged. Then the challenge is to figure out how to select the color you want. So my recommendation is to save the instructions for that or you can wing it like I do mostly and eventually I get the result I want. It offers many colors and then once you select the color you want, you can adjust the brightness and I never have to select the brightest because it's pretty bright but not blinding. I think there are at least 4 or 5 settings of brightness once you select the color and I like the middle or one down from that. Will also make the battery last longer. I've tried a few different models (at least 3 or 4 different ones) and this one is my favorite because it has a longer wire arm and will stay in place over the rim of the bowl better than the other models which don't have longer light arms and will fall off sometimes. I know these seem very odd to people as I've gotten several funny remarks but I've also given them as gifts and everyone absolutely loves them that they don't have to be blinded relieving themselves during the middle of the night. This also keeps me on top of keeping my bowl clean too so there are two benefits that I can think of right now. I can't imagine anyone not liking these once they actually install them. They help you find your way with a beautiful color to look at. Try them!

I really love these lights ... so much so that I've bought 4 of them! However, I don't use them quite the way they were designed to be used -- I don't hang them on the toilet bowl. Instead of lighting up the bowl itself, I have them light up the bathroom and the walkway into the bathroom. I have one tucked below the vanity cabinet in the recessed toe kick space at its base and that way the Vintar lights up the floor as you walk into the bathroom at night. It's awesome! I had another one hanging on the toilet paper holder and that worked well, but decided to relocate it so it, too, would be hidden away. Now the two of them discretely light up different areas of the bathroom when you walk in at night, stay on long enough to take care of business, and then quietly turn themselves off shortly thereafter. (FYI - be sure one is located within motion reach of the toilet in case you need to 'wave' it back on at night!) And I also take one with us every time we travel! You can never be guaranteed that there will be a night light in the hotel bathroom and finding your way around an unfamiliar bathroom in the dark is tricky. So I always take one of these lights with us and hang it somewhere in the bathroom -- there's generally a hook or towel bar available or sometimes I'll just set it on the counter or on the back of the toilet tank. You just have to make sure to position the motion sensor towards where you'll trigger the light. I even lent ours to our daughter when she was traveling and she liked it so much that I bought her one of her own. I did find it a little hard to understand the programming instructions, but once I got it, I wondered why I had struggled ... because it seems easy now. I personally like the blue light glow the best as it's easy on the eyes while still lighting up the area.

I received these at a "white elephant" party so glad I kept them. The light colors are bright and adjustable, the set of 3 is a great value. The light wand is flexible, strong quality and the battery life is good. The sensor picks up motion at least 4 feet from the toilet so I can see safely at night. Good for kids and adults.

This is a VERY cool gadget. They work like they are advertised (in a total of 15, I did get one dud that quit working shortly after setting it up). I have so many not because I have a 15 bathroom house but they last a solid year and then they start going out. For an electronic, battery operated, item that is in a deeply humid setting ... I think this is pretty good. Look, these are kinda a weird concept ... but not turning lights on when you need to hit the head in the middle of the night has been very convenient.

I bought the Vintar Motion Sensor LED Toilet Night Lights as a gag gift for my family and coworkers for Christmas two years ago. I also bought some for myself. They work great! I had several family members tell me how much they liked them. I was really surprised when my boss recently requested that I order three more for him for use in his home! He liked them so well that he wanted more for his new home! However, I gave them four stars only because I bought the 3-pack for my boss and one of the three didn't work. I called Amazon and they immediately sent a replacement set of three which I received in two days. I just pulled one of them out of the new package and it worked fine, so I sent back the bad one with the other two (which I don't know if they worked or not). The night lights have 16 colors to choose from, so there is bound to be one that everyone likes. There are bright ones and less-bright ones. It is so nice to not have to turn on the light in the bathroom at night. The toilet lights up as soon as it sees my movement and turns off when I leave the bathroom. This unit uses 3 AA batteries, so it lasts quite a long time. One of the units I purchased for myself two years ago quit working after a year or so, but the other unit is still working. I have just had to replace the batteries. I think the bad one that I purchased for my boss was just a quirk. I highly recommend these toilet night lights. They work very well!
