Not For Us...At Least Not With This Puppy
This sounded like such a great idea so after having hit and miss luck potty training our 9 week old Bichon Frise, I bought these bells. They are attractive and they are extremely well made. But...they are not for us.They may work for you. They even worked for us for about a week... Then our puppy decided they were her personal room service bell!!!If she needed a treat, she rang the bell. If her food bowl was empty, she rang the bell. If she ran out of water, she rang the bell. If she wanted to play, she rang the bell. If she couldn't see me (as in, I was in the powder room), she rang the bell... Oh, and if she needed to go out to potty, she rang the bell.LOL!!! Smart puppy but drove us nuts!I'll potty train the old fashioned way and use these great bells for Christmas decor.

Amazing!
I have a 12 wk old black lab. She’s done well with potty training but doesn’t make any noise to let you know she needs to go out. She just sits at the door until you notice her. I thought these bells would be worth a try. Immediately after hanging them on the door, she touched them when she needed to go out. Now she hits them and sits until you let her out. These bells are a miracle! She only goes to them if she needs to go potty. I’m glad there were two so she has one in our camper.

I ordered 6 brands of bells to make sure we could hear them. After a side by side comparison these were the loudest and were our keepers, even compared to some more popular choices. Didn't need to dog bowl with it, so donated it. But these would be the bells we would get again if needed.

3 Month Old Puppies figured it out in a week
Our smart 10 week old American Eskimo pups were a little apprehensive at first but we desperately needed to toilet train them so we persevered and rang the bells every time we took them out. We have one bell hanging on the door to outside and the other on a puppy gate so them being adjustable worked well for us. I bribed them with a treat at first but it wasn't really necessary as they figured out the bells within a week. We were super impressed. Unfortunately, because we gave them a treat each time they rang the bell, by week 2 they had also figured out that they could ring the bells for just a treat or some attention! So my hubby and I now take turns to be beckoned by our pups. Our vet is highly amused with how well these puppies are training us!

Happily potty trained
Love this! My dog learned so quickly that ringing the bell meant to go potty. I only had to show her and say potty a couple of times and she picked it up. Of course, now she overuses it and jumps on the bell every 20 minutes to go "potty" because she knows I'm scared she will poo on the floor....so if you're not afraid of manipulation, these bells are for you

Big bells
Bought two of these for my 96 year old Dad's walker so I can hear him. I put them on each side, loosely, so when he moves, I know it. He gets confused at times, so I need to be aware at all times what he is doing. These are large bells, not loud, but I can hear when his walker moves. These would be louder if a dog was batting at them, would create more movement. I also hope they make noise when Dad falls at night, so I can hear the walker falling when he goes down. These sre on durable cloth/nylon tape, so will last for a long time.

LOVE IT!!!
I have never tried this method for training before and I AM THRILLED with the results. My boxer pup is only 12 weeks but he took to this method in less than a week. It is extremely convenient when you can train your dog to basically speak to you. He hasn’t quite figured out what to do yet when we are places that don’t have the bells, but in time I’m sure he”lol figure it out. My order came with two sets of bells one for my front door and one for my back door. There has been an unexpected added safety feature with this as well, since I don’t live in the most safe area and have had my house broke into. The bells also will alert me if anyone is tampering with the door. The front door bells I can take with me places since we use the back door for pet toileting. I also got a portable water bowl that attaches to the leash for dog park time or adventures out. VERY USEFUL VERY PRACTICAL VERY CONVENIENT AND EFFICIENT PRODUCTS FOR A GREAT PRICE. I highly recommend it has made life and training so much easier. Worth every penny. 5 out of 5 stars.

Excellent product worked for our dog
We thought we had about a 50-50 chance of this working. But are happy to say that our puppy learned to use the bells in about four days. We had to show them how it works and pick up his paw and have him touch it and then give them a treat each time we took him out before long he was going over and ringing the bell on his own. 95% of the time he really hast to go the other 5% he just wants to go out and play LOL definitely a success. When he started to think he just wanted to play we would just praise him instead of giving him a treat and then when he went out and went potty we would give him a treat. Now we don’t give treats at all we just tell him how good he is and it works great
